Technology Resources: My Must Haves

One of the tech resources I can’t live without as a future educator is Google Slides. While

many people are familiar with Google Docs and Google Drive, some may not be aware of the

versatility of Google Slides. It can of course be used for slide presentations but it can also be

used to organize lesson plans, activities, information, data, and more. It is great because it is an

organized bunch of pages that have more ways to organize and categorize than a normal google

doc. Google Slides also have many different cool features to add entertaining elements to your

slide presentations such as videos, pictures, many fonts, shapes, colors, animations of photos or

text, and much more. With its organized pages and numerous options for organization and

categorization, Google Slides is an excellent tool for educators. I love the versatility of Google

Slides and I also love how user-friendly it is. It is a great platform for kids as well as adults and

can be used for many purposes.

Another tech app that I love is Grammarly. Grammarly can be used as a google chrome add-on

and an app. Grammarly is a super useful app that can benefit teachers, students, and

administrators too. For teachers, it can help to correct grammar errors in their writing, this allows

them to present their information to colleagues and their students clearly and effectively.

Grammarly can save time in lesson planning and other online writing tasks by allowing users to

type more efficiently without worrying about small errors. For students, Grammarly helps to

improve their writing skills by correcting errors, suggesting stronger word choices, and even

providing explanations for certain errors in writing. It can be super useful for admin because it

can ensure that emails and other important documents are error-free which can help to maintain a

professional image for the organization. Overall, Grammarly is a highly valuable tool for anyone

looking to improve their writing and communication skills, as well as increase productivity.
