1. What are the characteristics of TPR?

- The students can play the role of listeners and performers.

- Students will listen carefully and will respond physically to what the teacher
tells them to do.

- Students need to respond both individually and in groups.

- Students have little influence on the content of the lesson as the discussion is
determined by the teacher.

2. Identify which segmented videos that show the characteristic of TPR!

3. Have you learned English using this method in your class? Did you like it?

Yes, I have. I liked it due to it is useful for me in the future in helping teachers
teach English and creating a fun classroom atmosphere. Another reason why I
like this method is because of its easy activities such as conversations, role
plays, reading and writing activities to increase vocabularies.

4. Would you use this method when you teach English? If yes or no, explain why
or why not!

I will consider TPR method due to its application relates to the coordination of
commands, speech and movement so that a child is easier to master a language
in learning. However, it’s efficient as well to stimulate students or foreign
language learners to remember vocabulary through movement stimulation.
This method has the principle of learning through body movements.
