This book provides an extensive list of ESL games and activities that engage students with little or
no prep work. The interactive ESL activities are perfect to warm up a class, round out a lesson, or
teach a particular grammar or vocabulary point. Clearly organized by skill and level, ESL Games
for the Classroom is the go-to ESL teacher’s companion for adding educational games to the
agenda.

The book lists 101 ESL games that are useful for classroom-tested fun. The games are also
organised in a way that allows my to quickly reference games based on the skills I am teaching,
my classroom size, and difficulty level to suit my students.

8. Nilai Pengetahuan / Pengajaran

There are a number of things that I have found this book to be valuable for.

Firstly, the book provides an extensive number of games that I can use in my Year 4 classes to
teach English in a fun way. The games are described very well and broken down into steps that
are easy to follow even for beginner teachers.

Secondly, I found that the book organises the games very clearly as it was easy for me to look for
games according to a specific language skill that I want to teach. Furthermore, the author also
included guides as to which games are suitable to beginner learners of the English language to
advanced learners.
