BLOSSOMS INAUGURATION CEREMONY

The event which every christite zealously waits for, BLOSSOMS. At 12PM near the Audi block, crowds
started filling in with nothing but enthusiasm on their faces about to witness history in making, the
first ever Blossoms event of Christ (Deemed to be University), Yeshwanthpur Campus. The event
started with emcees welcoming our dignitaries Father Vinod Michael, Dr Joby Thomas and SWO
Office Head Bhaskar Sir, faculties and students.

The auditorium was looking beautiful for which all the credits go to arts and creatives. The
inauguration ceremony began with soothing music sung by NINAAD which shivered our spines and
left us with goosebumps, followed by a dance performance by NATYARPANA which was just candy to
our eyes, so powerful at the same time.

Then came the part of the program which everyone was so excited for. The spokesperson for each
department entered in their own elegant manner. Department of Arts and Humanities, Social
Sciences, Commerce, Sciences and Business & Management dressed as Cholas, Mauryas, Marathas,
Guptas and Mughals respectively. They all gave such powerful speeches which motivated every
student of their department and filled others with competitiveness.

After the vigorous speeches of all the spokespersons, the war was declared. The message was read
from the parchment of paper. Then father stepped on the dais on a tremendous background music,
gave his speech which encouraged all of us. He gave the tag of the best blossoms to our campus. He
appreciated all the artists, solemnly declared that the war is on and revealed the trophy.

Then came the performance of our beloved band MOM’s MISOSOUPS. An excellent gig which left all
of us hyped up for blossoms. Subsequently the emcees thanked our notable guests, beloved
faculties, and our wonderful audience for their presence. Last but not least a big thanks goes to the
entire SWO team for their hard work and efforts to make this dreamy event come true.

The University Anthem was played then and as true as it is, a true christite never stops marching on!
