Kusan National High School students attended career guidance orientation,in
order to guide them in their career path. Students participated in orientation, aspired their thoughts in tracks and courses suitable to their abilities and skills. Jhon Mark S. Antonio, Career Guidance Coordinator, initiate this career guidance orientation conducted on March 31, 2023 at Kusan National High School together with peer helpers in guidance office. Studied Mathematics at National Teachers College, Bachelor of Secondary Education, currently a teacher from Kusan National High School and Senior High School (SHS) Coordinator, Mrs. Mechele M. Roce, the resource speaker of conducted Career guidance orientation. This accomplished orientation are in participation of Grade 10-Newton, Grade 10- Galileo, Grade 11-TVL, Grade 11-HUMMS, Grade 12-TVL and Grade 12-HUMMS students. According to, Nona P. Imbang, G-10 Newton student, “career guidance can help us identify our strengths, interest and values which can help us choose a career path that is fulfilling and aligned with our personal goals.” Moreover,“Career guidance focuses on the student’s future and what they’ll take when reaching senior high school and college, it aims to guide them on their goals to their desired course and majors, especially for those who are struggling to pick,” Angelika Reigne P. Aday, G-10 Newton student said. Furthermore, Sir Antonio said, “ the importance of career guidance orientation is to assist or acquaint individuals with their career choices, career guidance orientation is to assist Grade 10 entrants in making informed decisions regarding their choice of track.” “ Promote awareness in the importance of choosing a track that suits their skills and interests that matches the available resources and needs of the society,” he added.
