A father, knowing that his last days were approaching, called

his son and said, “Dharampal! My dear son, though you are
my only heir, I have not amassed any wealth for you. I have
always been faithful; I assure you that I was honest. The
father, lovingly laying his hand on his son's head, was silent;
Satisfied, he breathed his last. After his father's death, the
responsibility of managing the household fell to Dharampal.

May you always be happy in your life; He said, "I bless you
that you will be victorious." Whatever you touch, it turns to
gold, my son!” said. Dharampal bowed his head in gratitude
and touched his father's feet in obeisance.
The father, lovingly laying his hand on his son's head, was
silent; Satisfied, he breathed his last. After his father's death,
the responsibility of managing the household fell to
Dharampal.
He started a handicraft business on a small scale. The business was
doing well and growing. Then he bought a small shop. Gradually, he
developed his business. He soon became one of the richest men in
the city. He truly believed that it was his father's blessings that
elevated him to this position. His father never lost his patience.

He endured all kinds of hardships. Never lost his faith and honesty.
All these gave power to his words and blessings. Those blessings
also made it fruitful. Dharampal always tells this to everyone. He
attributed his success to his father's blessings Once a friend of
Dharampal asked him, "If your father is so powerful, why can't he live
comfortably and happily?" said.

Dharampal replied, “I am not saying that my father is powerful. I said

that my father's blessings are the most powerful.” Thus, Dharampal
was always talking about his father's blessings, so people gave him
the name "Father's Blessings". Dharampal did not think anything
wrong in his mind about this. This is also an honor he got. He said
that with his father's blessings, I am becoming better.
Years passed. Dharampal expanded his business to other countries.
Wherever he went and did business, he made a profit.

A curiosity struck Dharampal. He thought that he, who is always

making profits, should experience losses. He asked one of his friends
for advice, "Tell me about a business that will make me lose." The
friend thought that Dharampal was very proud of his success and
money. He decided that we should advise him about the business
which was really losing him. He told Dharampal that he could buy
cloves from India and take them to the African island of Zanzibar and
sell them there.

Dharampal was amused by his friend's comment.

Zanzibar is famous for cloves. It is from there that cloves are imported
to India. Cloves there are sold at 10 to 12 times higher prices in India.
If you buy cloves from here and sell them there, you will surely make
a loss. He decided that we should do this. He decided to see how
Father's blessings help in this.
Bought cloves from India and filled the ship; He himself went to the
island of Zanzibar to do business.

Zanzibar is a kingdom ruled by Sultans. Dharampal got off the ship and
walked down that long sandy road. He was going to meet traders.

After a while he saw a man who looked like a Sultan coming. He was
coming with his soldiers. He asked someone who was standing there.
He said, “Sultan”. When Sultan and Dharambal meet face to face,
Sultan who are you? Say that. Dharampal said, “I am a trader from
Kampath in the state of Gujarat, India. I came here to do business."
Being a merchant, he was talking to Dharampal with due respect.

Dharampal saw hundreds of soldiers accompanying the Sultan; But no

one had a sword or a gun; Instead they had very large sieves
(scrapers). Dharampal was very surprised. He wanted to know why. He
asked the Sultan very politely, “Why are your soldiers carrying huge
sieves?” said. Sultan smiled and said, “I came to this beach this
morning. Then, the ring on my finger fell somewhere here. It must be
buried in the sand here.
So they brought sieves to sift the sand and find the ring, Sultan
said. Dharampal asked if the ring was worth a lot of money.
Sultan, all that is nothing; I have countless rings worth more than
this. But he said that the ring was given to me by the blessing of a
sannyasi.

He said that the reason why this kingdom of mine is so strong and
happy is because of the blessings of that ascetic. Sultan said that
ring is more valuable than this kingdom. Then Sultan started
talking to Dharampal about business.
Now what material have you brought? he asked. Dharampal said,
'Cloves'. The Sultan was very surprised to hear this. „This country
is the country of cloves; Are you going to come here and sell
cloves? Who gave you this advice? Of course, he can be your
enemy! Here you can buy a handful of cloves for a penny. Who is
going to buy cloves from you here? How are you going to earn
here?' said Sultan. I am here to do an experiment. Can I make
any profit here? Isn't it? I have come to check that.
Thanks to my father's blessings, all the businesses I have done till
date have been profitable. So here today I want to see if his
blessings continue to help me,” said Dharampal. Father's blessings?
What does this mean? asked the Sultan. Dharampal said, 'My father
worked very honestly and sincerely throughout his life.
He could not earn money; On his deathbed; Placing his hand on my
head, he blessed that even if you take dirt in your hand, it will turn
into gold. While talking like this, Dharampal bent down and scooped
a lot of soil with his hand. He showed it to the Sultan. The sand
slipped through his fingers. After all the sand fell down, the diamond
ring was in Dharampal's hand. Dharampal and Sultan looked at it
with wide eyes in surprise.
It is the same ring that Sultan is looking for. Sultan was satisfied with
his ring. He looked at Dharampal and said, 'This is amazing! God!
Thank you very much. You have made Father's blessings come true!
said. Dharampal, the same God, also made the blessings of the
ascetic come true. Hearing this the Sultan was more than satisfied.
Embracing Dharampal, he said, 'My dear friend! He said I will give
you what you want today. Dharampal said, 'May you live for 100
years and take good care of your people. May all your people always
be happy. This is enough for me. Don't want anything else, he said.
Hearing this, the sultan got excited and said, 'I will take all
your cloves and give you whatever price you ask.' Father's blessings
did not fail Dharampal here either.
This is an undeniable fact. That means there is
immeasurable power in the blessings of our parents. There is no
greater wealth than those blessings. It is those blessings that give us
the fruits of our labor every moment. The greatest service we can do
to God is to respect our elders.
