Planning a holiday with my grandma

A: Granny, granny! I’ve been thinking…maybe we could go somewhere on

holidays together? Just two of us because I feel like lately we’ve had the lack of
quality time!
B: Hello, dear! Yea, of course, it’s a really intriguing idea! Where are you
considering taking us?
A: I was thinking about exploring the rich history and culture of Italy. What do you
think about visiting Rome, Florence, and Venice? These cities are perfect for
family pastime.
B: Italy is a fascinating destination, but I'm not sure if I can handle all the walking
and sightseeing. Maybe you have some other options for your oldie but goldie
grandmother?
A: How about a river cruise along the Danube river? We can experience the
beauty and charm of Eastern Europe without too much physical exertion. Seems
like a nice place to put your feet up!
B: Hmm, well, I’d already been there 3 times with your grandfather before we
drifted apart. It’s a lovely place indeed, however, it always reminds of my
protracted misery and our divorce…
A: Oh, sorry, I didn’t mean too touch on it. Well, maybe something else will do.
What about Hawaii?
B: Ooo, I’ve always wanted to visit Hawaii but my quarrelsome and obstinate
husband had been against us traveling there, even though there was no reason
for such attitude! So I, being a conciliatory wife, always agreed with everything he
wanted.
A: That’s really awesome that now you have an opportunity to visit every
destination you’ve ever dreamed of! Sooo…I guess that’s a bargain?
B: Deal! This will be the best holiday ever! Thank you for your suggestions,
darling.
A: Of course! Now, we have to deal with one of the most essential things…don’t
forget to pack your swimsuit, sunglasses, photo camera, all documents and sun
cream! Let’s start our summer adventure, shall we?
B: Perfect! Photo camera will be needed for my breathtaking pics for Instagram so
my dummy ex-husband would see whom he had lost, hehe^))
A: Omg, woman, who are you? What did you do to my self-conscious granny?
Ahhaha.
B: Not anymore, now I’m a new version of myself – an upgraded one! Self-
confident and self-reliant lady!
A: Good for you) Ok, gonna pack my stuff for our vacation too, see you soon, love
ya!
B: Love you too, honey, see you later, alligator!
