An Appeal
Dear Alumni and well-wishers,
Greetings from SIT and SIT Alumni Association (SITAA).
SIT founded and nurtured by His Holiness Dr. Sree Sree Sivakumara Swamigalu, has completed 60 years and contributed
Technical and Managerial expertise to the society. Our Alumni proudly say that, "We owe our success to our Alma Mater - SIT".
The Institute has been recognized at the National Level – Ranked among the top 100 engineering institutions in the country
under National Institutional Ranking Framework, Ministry of Education, Government of India for the sixth time. This fete has
been achieved for having good infrastructure, contributions by faculty and staff members, performance of students and wishes
& feedback from SIT Alumni.
The Golden Jubilee Global Alumni Meet was held on 1st and 2nd March 2014 at SIT, Tumkur. The credit for the grand success
of the event goes to all our Alumni. In the said meet, Alumni have decided to construct a Convention Center for SIT by their
contributions.
We are proud of your accomplishments and applaud your success. We are happy to place on record the laurels you have
brought to your Alma Mater, SIT.
SITAA has decided to start the construction of the Convention Centre in the month of February 2023, complete it by the end of
2023 and hand it over before the celebration of Diamond Jubilee of SIT. The Bhoomi Pooja of the Convention Center was
performed by His Holiness Sree Sree Siddalinga Swamigalu on 4 th December 2022 with participation of over 500 Alumni.
As a valued Alumnus and successful entrepreneur, we request you earnestly to contribute generously to this noble cause. Your
contribution will help in realizing the project in the stipulated time. Also, we request you to impress upon your batch-mates,
other alumni and well-wishers with whom you have contact to contribute generously.
All donors contributing ≥ Rs. 50,000 will be acknowledged in a plaque to be placed at the Convention Center. SITAA would
also like to honour the outstanding donors with various categories as mentioned hereunder.

other than those mentioned above are also accepted.
