LEARNING TASK 4:

1. To relate a story or to recount events, an author uses narrative writing.

2. The purpose is to show dictions and points whenever the poem is spoken out to an audience or
to make the words and thoughts of the poem clear to the reader's mind.
3. It was written as a message to all of us, fighters. Since we all struggle in our everyday struggles,
the author directs the message through the poem for us to be stronger and braver. To fight with
dignity and strength no matter what ails us.
4. You must fight even though you're dying.

PERFORMANCE TASK 4:

The poem is about the black community advocating for courage and the will to fight back against
oppression.

In the poem, females were highlighted/not highlighted as beautiful, distant, and inaccessible women.

The poem portrayed male characters as strong and able to fight back.

Moreover, the poem presents the suppression of so much so that they are in danger of losing not only
their lives but also their humanity.
