REVISION PLAN OF WORK FOR WEEK BEGINNING MARCH 20-24, 2023

During this week Students will write end-of term scripts and complete. Students will be
assessed in each subject as outlined below. The scripts are attached.
Subject: Mathematics

Grade: 5

Topic: Measurement and Geometry

Attainment Target:
 Identify, describe, compare and classify geometric figures and their properties.
 Use the correct units, tools and attributes to estimate, compare and carry out the
process of measurement to given degree of accuracy

Measurement
 Units of measurement: length, mass, temperature and liquid
 Conversion between units of measurement (time, length, liquid and mass).

Geometry
 Types of lines and angles

Objectives: At the end of the lesson, students should be able to:

 Identify the possible lines of symmetry in geometric shapes and objects.
 Identify and draw the following polygons: triangles, square, rectangle and irregular
quadrilaterals.
 Compute the perimeter of regular and irregular polygons using units of measurement
for length.

Subject: Science

Grade: 5

Topic: Nutrition

Attainment Target:

 Gain an understanding of some life processes in plants and animals, and how lifestyle
choices impact health and well-being in humans.
Objectives: At the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
 Identify the food nutrients.

 Describe the importance of each nutrient to the body.

 Identify foods that are rich in particular nutrients.

 List at 5 food items in which starch is present after whole group discussion

 Work in groups cooperatively.

choices impact health and well-being in humans.

Objectives: At the end of the lesson, students should be able to:

 Describe the basic structure of the eye after examining chart

 Identify and name at least three parts of the eye after examining diagram
 Describe the basic structure of the ear as a sense organ.
 Identify and name at least three parts of the ear after examining diagram
 Explain how the ear picks up stimuli from the environment
 Identify major parts (Skin ) of human body.
  State functions of major parts (Skin) of the body.
 Identify and name the two layers of the skin.
 Accurately label a diagram of the skin after viewing a picture of the skin.
 Make a model of the skin using materials from the environment after viewing model.
 Insightfully describe the functions of the nose after activity.
 Actively identify the parts of the nose during exercise.

The following below are intended activities that will be used to revise concepts that are
related to the above objectives:
 Students will be given practise test to complete.
 Students will be involved in games (I spy, etc.) to reinforce key concepts.
 Students and teacher will engaged in question and answers sessions, where
teacher will reinforce concepts and clarify any misconceptions through examples.
