Questions:

1. What is the relationship between the voltage and the resistance?

Voltage is defined as the charge differential between two points while resistance is the
tendency of a substance to oppose the flow of charge. Both are correlated in a way that
voltage is directly proportional to the resistance in this connection.

2. While resistance is constant, what is the effect on the current if the voltage is
increased?
As the voltage rises by 3V, the current rises by 1A. As a result, voltage is precisely
proportional to current.

3. If we use lamps instead of resistors, what could be the profile of the brightness of
these lamps if we increase their internal resistance? Does it become brighter? Support
your answer.
If the internal resistance increases, the bulb will become dim rather than brighter. This is
owing to the high resistance, which causes less current flow for any given voltage.

4. Voltmeter is connected in parallel while the ammeter should be connected in series

when used, why is this so? Explain briefly.
A voltmeter is a gadget with high resistance and this ensures that its connection does not
alter the flow of current in the circuit. Because there will be no current in the circuit if it is
connected in series, it is connected in parallel. The ammeter, on the other hand, is a device
that measures the amount of current flowing in a circuit and it has a very low resistance. If it
is coveted concurrently, it will draw the majority of the current and will be harmed. As a result,
it is linked in series.

What I have learned?

Resistance is equal to voltage divided by current, and voltage divided by resistance is
equivalent to current. Resistance can be compared to a dam since current can be compared to a
river's current. The river before and after the dam will move more slowly if it is particularly resistant
and allows less water to pass through. The current is therefore uniform from one junction to the next.
Moreover, the current and resistance are inversely related to each other: as the resistance
rises, the current falls, and vice versa. If the resistance is doubled, the current is cut in half; if it is
multiplied by five, the current is divided by five. The current doubles when the resistance is cut in
half.
