Seek medical attention if effects persist.
Skin : Remove contaminated clothing. Flush skin with water. If
effects persist, seek medical attention.
Inhaled : Remove patient from contaminated area. Consult doctor if
symptoms persist.
First Aid Facilities : Ensure an eye bath and safety shower are available and
ready for use.
Advice to Doctor : Treat symptomatically based on judgment of doctor and
individual reactions of patient.
5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
Material is non-flammable. Severe overheating may produce hydrogen chloride gas
Reacts with alkaline products. Corrosive to metals. Releases acidic vapors upon
decomposition. Hazardous polymerisation has not been reported.
Extinguishing Media:
Fire-fighters should wear full protective clothing including self-contained breathing apparatus.
Use water, foam or carbon dioxide extinguishers. Use equipment/media appropriate to
surrounding fire conditions.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Spills : Clean-up personnel should wear full protective clothing including breathing
apparatus in dusty conditions. Prevent drain or sewer contamination. Keep people away from
spill - becomes slippery when wet.
Prevent material from entering drains or sewers by using sand or sawdust.
Collect for disposal and hose residues to drains with copious amounts of water.

7. HANDING AND STORAGE

Store in a dry location away from direct sources of heat. Prevent severe over- heating.
Ensure opened bags are resealed to prevent absorption of moisture. No special
transport or storage requirements.
