On many occasions it is di cult to perceive the smell of gas coming from a leak in the gas lines of our houses, a gas
sensor is very convenient to ful ll this task, then we will build an economical and easy natural gas and LPG sensor with
few components to build.

en muchas ocasiones es difícil percibir el olor a gas proveniente de una fuga en las líneas de gas de nuestras casas un
sensor de gas resulta muy conveniente para cumplir esta tarea, a continuación construiremos con pocos componentes
un sensor de gas natural y glp económico y fácil de construir.

Step 1: Electric Scheme

We use the MT3608 Booster-step Up type voltage booster module because it is more e cient when converting from 3
volts from 2 batteries to the 5 volts needed to operate the sensor.
the sensor has a digital output that is activated when it detects a certain amount of gas, this activation is regulated by a
potentiometer built into the sensor.

usamos el modulo elevador de voltaje MT3608 tipo Booster- step Up porque resulta mas e ciente a la hora de convertir
de 3 voltios de 2 baterías a 5 voltios necesarios para funcionar el sensor.
el sensor posee una salida digital que se activa cuando detecta cierta cantidad de gas, esta activación es regulada por un
potenciómetro incorporada en el sensor.

propane gas sensor is achieved.

possible improvements:
It is recommended to add an LCD screen to the gas sensor, which allows a more accurate measurement
reading in parts per million of gas in the environment.
It is recommended to calibrate the instrument with another properly calibrated laboratory instrument.
it is possible to use lithium batteries and a microcontroller as possible future improvements.

se logra el diseño e implementación de un prototipo embebido de sensor de gas natural y gas propano funcional,
intuitivo y e ciente.
posibles mejoras:
Se recomienda añadir una pantalla lcd al sensor de gas, que permita un lectura mas precisa de medida en
partes por millón de gas en el ambiente.
se recomienda realizar una calibración del instrumento con otro instrumento de laboratorio debidamente
calibrado.
es posible usar baterías de litio y un microcontrolador como posibles mejoras futuras.
