शादनगर ि थत भू-क को सुद ूर संवेदन गितिविधय क पूरी ृंखला को चलाने के िलए एक पूण क के प म िवकिसत कया
जा रहा है।
National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) is one of the constituent Centres of Indian
Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space (DOS) responsible for the Ground
Segment of Remote Sensing Programme through Satellite Data Acquisition, Archival,
Processing, Dissemination, Remote Sensing Applications, Training and Capacity Building. It
has five Regional Centres located at Bengaluru, Nagpur, Kolkata, Jodhpur and New Delhi to
address region/area specific Remote Sensing application needs. The Earth Station located at
Shadnagar is being developed as a full-fledged Centre to carry out the entire chain of Remote
Sensing activities.

एनआरएससी यो य उ मीदवार को रा िनमाण के िलए योगदान करते ए ि गत और पेशे से संबंिधत िवकास ा करने के िलए एक
ब त ही अनुकूल और उ तकनीक वाला काय-वातावरण दान करता है । एनआरएससी म अ याधुिनक तकनीक से सुसि त पु तकालय
भी है िजसम कई अंतररा ीय पि का , काशन आ द क प ं च है।
NRSC offers a very congenial and high-tech work-environment to the deserving candidates to attain
personal & professional growth while contributing for the cause of Nation Building. NRSC also has
a well equipped Library with access to several International journals, publications etc. of repute.

तैनाती का थान Place of Posting :

चयिनत उ ीदवारों को एनआरएससी – भू-क , शादनगर प रसर, रं गारे ी िजला, तेलंगाना रा या एनआरएससी,
बालानगर, हैदराबाद म तैनात िकए जाने की संभावना है। हालाँ िक, एनआरएससी के पास भारत म कहीं भी और जब
भी आव क हो, उ ीदवारों को तैनात करने का अिधकार सुरि त है।
The selected candidates are likely to be posted at NRSC - Earth Station, Shadnagar campus, Rangareddy
District, Telangana State or at NRSC, Balanagar, Hyderabad. However, NRSC reserves the right to post the
candidates anywhere in India as and when required.

प रलि धयां एवं अ य लाभ Emoluments & Other Benefits:

1. किन अनुसं धान अ येता (क.अ.अ.)

किन अनुसंधान अ येता (जेआरएफ) को ₹31,000 पये ित माह का भुगतान कया जाएगा,समी ा सिमित ारा िपछले दो
वष के शोध काय क सफलतापूवक समाि और समी ा के आधार पर िजसे दो साल के बाद व र अनुसंधान अ येता
(एसआरएफ) के प म ₹35,000 / - पये ित माह तक बढ़ाया जा सकता है।
उपयु फे लोिशप रािश के अलावा, य द आवास दान नह कया जाता है तो िनयुि के थान पर िनधा रत दर पर मकान
कराया भ ा का भुगतान कया जाएगा और मौजूदा िनयम के अनुसार के वल वयं के िलए िच क सा लाभ क अनुमित दी
जाएगी।इस उ े य के िलए फे लोिशप रािश को मूल वेतन के प म िलया जाएगा। जेआरएफ के वल आकि मक छु ी के िलए पा
ह। भारत सरकार के िनदशानुसार सभी मिहला जेआरएफ के िलए सूित छु ी उपल ध ह गे। इसके अलावा, चयिनत उ मीदवार
िनयिमत कमचा रय के िलए वीकाय कसी भी लाभ या रयायत के हकदार नह ह गे।
Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
The Junior Research Fellows (JRF) shall be paid ₹31,000 per month with a possibility to be
increased to ₹35,000/- as Senior Research Fellow (SRF) after two years, on successful
completion and review of research work of the previous two years by a review committee.
In addition to the above mentioned fellowship amount, HRA at the prescribed rates in force
at the place of posting will be paid, if not provided with accommodation and Medical
benefits will be allowed as per extant rules of NRSC/ISRO. The fellowship amount shall be
taken as Basic pay for this purpose. JRFs are eligible only for casual leave. Maternity leave
as per Govt. of India instructions would be available to all female JRFs. Apart from this, the

 candidates selected will not be entitled to any benefits or concessions admissible to regular
employees.

2. अनुसंधान वै ािनक (आरएस):

पे मै स म लेवल 10 (7 सीपीसी के अनुसार) + महंगाई भ ा और आवास दान नह कए जाने पर,मकान कराया तैनात
थान पर लागू मकान कराया भ ा ।इसके अलावा, अनुसंधान वै ािनक एनआरएससी के िनयम के अनुसार वयं के िलए
िच क सा लाभ और अवकाश पा ता के िलए पा ह। चयिनत उ मीदवार िनयिमत कमचा रय के िलए वीकाय कसी भी लाभ
या रयायत के हकदार नह ह गे। उपरो ावधान सरकार क नीित के अनुसार समय-समय पर प रवतन/सं शोधन होने क
संभावना ह। अनुसंधान वै ािनक वा षक वेतन वृि के हकदार नह ह।
Research Scientist (RS):
Level 10 in the Pay Matrix (as per VII CPC) + Dearness Allowance and HRA at the prescribed
rates in force at the place of posting will be paid, if not provided with accommodation.
In addition, the Research Scientists are eligible for medical benefits and Leave entitlement
as per the rules of NRSC/ISRO. Maternity leave as per Govt. of India instructions would be
available to all female Research Scientists. The candidates selected will not be entitled
to any benefits or concessions admissible to regular employees. The above provisions
are liable to change/revise from time to time as per Government policy. Research Scientists
are not entitled for annual increments.

3. प रयोजना एसोिसएट- I:
प रयोजना एसोिसएट- I को ₹31,000 पये ित माह का भुगतान कया जाएगा और आवास दान नह कए जाने पर तैनात
के थान पर लागू िनधा रत दर पर एचआरए का भुगतान कया जाएगा।
इसके अलावा, प रयोजना एसोिसएट एनआरएससी/इसरो के िनयम के अनुसार िच क सा लाभ और छु ी पा ता के पा ह।
भारत सरकार के िनदशानुसार सभी मिहला प रयोजना एसोिसएट के िलए सूित छु ी उपल ध ह गे। चयिनत उ मीदवार
िनयिमत कमचा रय के िलए वीकाय कसी भी लाभ या रयायत के हकदार नह ह गे। उपरो ावधान सरकार क नीित के

The Project Scientist-I shall be paid ₹ 56,000 per month and HRA at the prescribed rates in
force at the place of posting will be paid, if not provided with accommodation.

इसके अलावा, प रयोजना वै ािनक एनआरएससी/इसरो के िनयम के अनुसार िच क सा लाभ और छु ी क पा ता के पा ह।

In case the candidates are awarded Grades/CGPA instead of marks, the conversion of
Grades/CGPA to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the
University from where they have obtained the Degree. The onus of proving the conversion
from Grades/CGPA to percentage of marks would rest with the candidate. Candidates must
indicate equivalent percentage in relevant column of online application form as per the

चयन या Selection Process:

1) िनधा रत यो यता यूनतम आव यकता है और इसे ा कर लेने मा से उ मीदवार को सा ा कार के िलए बुलाए जाने के

The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and possession of the same
doesn’t automatically make the candidates eligible to be called for interview. A duly
constituted Screening Committee shall screen the applications received for the posts based
on the given eligibility criteria and may fix criteria as it may consider necessary for
shortlisting the candidates for interview.

In the event of large number of applications received for a particular post, NRSC may
conduct Computer Based Test (CBT) for shortlisting the candidates. This is only for the
purpose of screening/shortlisting the candidates. The marks obtained in the CBT will not
be taken into account for final selection process. Final selection will be done only based on
the marks obtained in the Interview.

The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate would be calculated based on the
practice as followed by the respective University/Institution. In case of grades/CGPA, the
conversion to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure as certified by the
respective University/ Institution. If any University/ Institution confirms that there is no
scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established
by dividing the candidate’s CGPA by the maximum CGPA and multiplying the result with
100.

The screened-in/shortlisted candidates will be called for interview before the Selection
Committee. Communication shall be sent only to the screened-in/shortlisted candidates.
NRSC will not entertain any correspondence on the issue of short-listing of candidates. The
call letters for the interview to the short-listed candidates will be sent only by e-mail. No
communication shall be made to the candidates who are not short-listed/ not screened in.

पद का कायकाल Tenure of the Positions:

The Positions advertised are purely on temporary basis for a period of one year or co-terminus
with the project, whichever is earlier. The candidates appointed against above posts shall not
have any claim or right for regular appointment against any posts in NRSC/ ISRO /Department of
Space and the services of the appointed candidates are liable to be terminated without any notice
and without assigning any reasons thereof.

Outstation candidates called for Interview will be paid to and fro Second Class Railway Fare
by the shortest route from the address given in the Online application to the Place of
interview or normal bus fare, whichever is less, on production of proof of journey such as
Railway Tickets Number(s)/PNR Number(s) or Bus ticket(s) etc. Sleeper class charge will be
paid only on production of Railway Ticket copies. If the candidates travel in a higher class of
accommodation than the one prescribed, only Second Class rail fare excluding the
reservation charges/sleeper charges will be paid. (The candidates who are allowed for
Interview after successful document verification will alone be paid eligible Travelling
Allowance.)

Candidates called for Interview will have to produce all relevant original documents,
including No Objection Certificate (if employed already under Central/State Government,
Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous Bodies) in proof of details furnished in their
applications submitted on-line, along with a set of self-attested photocopies at the time of
Interview. If any information furnished online is found to be wrong/false/suppressed the
facts at any stage of the recruitment process, the candidate will not be allowed for Interview
and no Travelling Allowance shall be paid, and if selected/ appointed, he is liable to be
terminated without assigning any reason.

पता दे ने क सलाह दी जाएगी।
Applications will be received on-line only and all further communications including the Call
Letter for interview to the selected candidates will be made to the applicants through email/
NRSC website only. Therefore, the applicants are advised to check their e-mail and visit
NRSC website from time to time. NRSC will not take responsibility for non-receipt of
intimation regarding call letter / any communication due to technical reasons or
whatsoever to the candidates and advised to give correct e-mail address.

7. चयिनत जेआरएफ को मा यता ा िव िव ालय से पीएचडी के िलए पंजीकरण करने और िविश तथा एनआरएससी को
लाभाि वत करने वाले ासंिगक शोध िवषय लेने के िलए ो सािहत कया जाता है। हालां क, उ ह पीएच.डी शोध पूरा करने के
िलए अित र समय देना पड़ेगा।
The selected JRFs are encouraged to register for PhD from recognized Universities and take
up relevant research topic benefitting the individual and NRSC. However, they have to work
extra time to complete the PhD research.

8. िवदेशी िव िव ालय ारा दान क गई िड ी रखने वाले उ मीदवार को सा ा कार के समय/आवेदन करते समय भारतीय
िव िव ालय संघ (एआईयू) नई द ली ारा जारी समक ता माण प तुत करना चािहए।
Candidates possessing Degrees awarded by foreign universities should produce the
equivalency certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) New Delhi, at
the time of interview/while applying.

9. एनआरएससी/इसरो के पास सभी या कसी भी पद को न भरने का अिधकार सुरि त है, य द वह ऐसा िनणय लेता है।
NRSC/ISRO reserves the right not to fill up all or any of the positions, if it so decides.

In case of submission of duplicate/ multiple applications against a particular position, the
latest application submitted before the closing date of submission of application shall be
considered for further processing.

In case of any ambiguity/ dispute arises on account of interpretation of Hindi version,

Date for determining the Eligibility of all candidates in every respect shall be the
prescribed closing date for submission of online recruitment application. The
applicants are advised to fill in all their particulars in the online recruitment

Shortlisted candidates are required to bring the printout of his/her online
