B. Create a sentence (at least 2) following the rules of Subject-Verb Agreement.


Basic Rules of Subject -Verb Agreement and its Application
1. Singular subjects require Singular verbs ( no s-es)
2. Either-or/ Neither –nor follows the count of the noun closest to the verb.
3. Indefinite Pronouns everyone, everybody, someone, somebody take a singular verb.
4. The use of “together with” follows the count of the noun before it.
5. Collective Nouns generally, but not always, take a singular form.
6. If the sentence begins goes like “A number of”, it is considered plural, so use a plural verb.
If it is “The number”, use a singular verb.
