Dear Sir,

Greetings!

The DevCom Society of Northwest Samar State University is currently spearheading a “Film Documentary
Workshop” in cooperation with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and other related
agencies. A renowned film creator from ABS-CBN company Ms. Baby Ruth Valderama as the Resource
Person. Several interests’ groups have been invited to attend the event which has started already this morning.
Our BSEMC1 Class is one of those participants and have been asked to make one film documentary as their
output of the workshop.

Due to limited timeframe and considering the project that the students will be doing, the undersigned would like
to ask permission that the class will be excuse from their classes on the next two days. On Thursday, the group
will be doing a video shoot and on Friday, they will showcase their output for critiquing. In addition, we would
like to asked also to allow us to use the Multimedia Laboratory as our production area for the next two days.

Though the group maybe considered beginners, the learning and the experiences they will gain on the said
project will surely be big enough as we prepare them to be an entertainment and multimedia professionals
someday.
