According to Tesda (2022), The Pharmacy Services NC III has a set of skills that workers must

earn or meet to execute general housekeeping, pharmaceutical product monitoring or inventory,

pharmaceutical product handling and control, and more on the organization and performance of good

laboratory practices. This program is designed to increase the knowledge, attitude, and abilities of

pharmacy staff by pharmacy practice guidelines. At the NC III level, it addresses the fundamental,

common, core, and basic competencies in pharmaceutical services.

A student who has completed the tesda course and Pharmacy Services NC III training is

qualified to work as a pharmacy assistant in the pharmaceutical industry. There are specific

requirements that must be met to complete training programs. The primary purpose of the NC III

basic is to improve the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to work in the pharmaceutical sector.

The first is that the core competencies in NC III finish at 802 hours and focus on the appropriate

health and safety measures as well as good housekeeping practices to maintain the place clean using

the proper cleaning solutions. Then, adhere to community health and safety procedures to provide a

safe working environment. Following that, common competencies finish after 24 hours and focus on

the relationship with clients or customers and the public. In common competencies, training

enhances the effectiveness of the personnel regarding maintaining the standard and having clear

communication with the customer. And for the basic competencies ends at 22 hours that lead

workplace communication, leading small teams, developing and practicing negotiation skills, solving

problems related to work activities, and the use of relevant technologies. (Plauta, 2022)
