          Last Friday, my classmates and I were discussing about choosing a career as a social media influencer
or working in an office. In my point of view, I will choose to become a social media influencer because
nowadays it has become a trend to promote products and services over social media such as Facebook,
Instagram, Tiktok and so on. 

          First of all, the pros of being a social media influencer is the flexibility of working hours. Instead of
working from nine-to-five job, you can coordinate your own job schedule and make up your mind when
you want to work. Hence, you can spend your time substantially with your family or friends. Besides, you
will become renowned when you are a social media influencer. Since your job is sharing the videos or
informations on various social media, the people may recognize you and you will get more attention in
public.

         However, there are also cons of being a social media influencer. You should not assume that all
influencers earn high amount income.It is just not the case.In fact,  your salary will greatly depend on your
level of popularity. The more people you reach with your posts and your videos, the more companies are
willing to pay you for that since they will get a higher return. Consequently, if you lose your level of
popularity, you may also lose a major part of your income.

         As far as I am concerned, the academic qualification is not necessary for being successful in life.
Although people’s perspective is obsessed about grades, those who do not have high qualification should
also have the opportunity to be success. For instance, Bill Gates dropped out from Harvard University for
the purpose of founding Microsoft. Eventually, he achieved his goal and became the most successful
billionaire. Hence,it seem that the key to be success is not academic qualification but the determination
and hard work.
