Statement of the problem

Due to the low prices of its goods, Wal-Mart has already reached essentially iconic status. It
is believed that Walmart constantly preserves innovative supply chains and cheaper labor
costs, providing the organization an advantage over its competitors. But even so, it claimed
that the corporation's method of dealing with revenue and its standing as a competitor
inside this retail business is also at the core of the issues the firm is currently facing. In
addition, the concern about market share might make various manufacturers and retailers
increasingly vulnerable to competitors. There is proof, including both current and long-
term difficulties that the corporation has faced in the present matter. Despite the above,
various issues also may occur because the company fails to compensate their employees a
sufficient wage or another type of compensation and benefits due to their cost-cutting style
or method.

Facts of the case

When Walmart started, people were excited about the low prices and excellent customer
service. When Walton put a new store in a city, it would make smaller locally owned
businesses close down. Then people needed to be more excited about that. As Wanton's
stores started to expand, moving from to city, people began to organize groups to stop
them from coming to their city.

Alternative decisions
Depending on the specific circumstances, several alternative solutions to Wal-Mart's issues
may exist. Walmart must be able to use a new price strategy that will benefit the company
while also allowing it to gain significantly from a cost or even expense approach, and it
must be acknowledged. The business may consider employing expenditure control in light
of all of this. This will help guarantee the company keeps its product prices and operating
expenses low. Their problem may also be solved by excellent marketing and an uplifting
message. It is then suggested that the company establish methods to ensure that one
established policy, including employee promotion, was performed by executives. Decision
makers should still publish all employment opportunities and interact effectively with
employees. Those employees should be aware of the standards for progression. Besides,
most qualified employees should be given an equal chance in the available position.
Training and education or seminars which can help employees improve shouldn't be
restricted to a select few. Employee motivation should always be facilitated by the
availability of higher authority with whom they may discuss their complaints.
Plan and action
The best suggestion for achieving this is to have increased the importance of their low
expenses through business development. The corporation is then encouraged to ensure
that they can determine whether their price is by the quality of their products and that this
won't affect people's perceptions of Wal-Mart's brand. Furthermore, the company is
encouraged to reassess its workforce policies and ensure that the organization stays true to
them to prevent discriminatory practices. According to this case study analysis, this is
relevant to suggest that Walmart integrates evaluation and job enrichment strategy, as
these are the primary factors influencing its advancement and growth. With all of this
strategic plan, Wal-Mart can drive revenue by reconfiguring or improving its existing
services and goods. Due to its potential to help the company's ability to enter new markets,
the technique mentioned earlier has previously been suggested. The strategy mentioned
above approach will impact several market categories at Walmart. It is okay for the firm to
start developing its core product offers in light of the results. As a result, the group will
have enough funds to sponsor other worthwhile programs. Through this strategic
approach, Walmart can now enhance its position in the marketplace of its various market
segments, resulting in a more powerful standby for those businesses.

Conclusion
In conclusion, Wal-Mart continues to operate in many countries worldwide and is
expanding to new ones each year. Walmart has also been expanding its retail operations,
and yearly, Walmart discovers new ways to develop and provide more services to its
customers. The number of individuals who own a piece of Wal-Mart grows. Because Wal-
Mart actively discourages its employees from joining unions, the union members are
bringing more legal claims against the retailer. The importance of Wal-Mart's affairs
committee will rise because of the retailer's expanding scale and broad range of services.
As Walmart develops into new market segments, there will be additional regulations
opposing them, and its public information department will have to intensify its efforts to
guarantee that Wal-Mart can keep expanding. Walmart will have to make other efforts to
uphold its good name as the opposition against them rises nationally and globally. The Wal-
Mart Organization will play a more significant role in giving back to the local community in
the future. Wal-Mart will be required to have better management regarding their
stakeholders and ensure that they protect their image if they wish to remain at the
forefront of their game, adhere to the corporate strategies, and accomplish their primary
policy objectives.
