couple assessments. She used that data and learned how
to write progress notes and an IEP. On a day when her
Hope College class got canceled, she chose to come to
her placement to teach and observe for the whole day!
Demonstrates perseverance 4 Ali has juggled a lot on her plate this semester including
illness, a full class load, college soccer, and another field
placement. Despite her busy schedule, Ali remained
present at this placement and handled every adversity with
grace and flexibility. I was impressed with her faithful
communication when life threw her curveballs.

STRENGTHS IN WORK:
From the very first day, Ali took initiative and began working with students. She has a natural love for teaching and ability to
interact with kids! This semester proved to be a difficult one, but she persevered.

Ali, as you continue to gain experience in the coming years, don't be afraid to apply the resources, technology tools, and
evidence-based practices that you learn at Hope into your field placements. Be confident! Teachers love to learn and you can
share your wealth of knowledge. Blessings!

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
Ali, keep building strong relationships as those are incredibly vital in a school setting. "A Teacher takes a HAND, opens a MIND,
and touches a HEART."
