Senior Software Engineer

Our client is a Digital Assets data infrastructure company. They unify blockchain-network and
cryptocurrency-market data, metrics, and reference rates into a comprehensive API providing a
single integration point, drastically accelerating our customers time to market.
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer that wants to help build a cutting edge
platform and is excited about digital assets, financial markets, and big data.

Responsibilities:
• Working on interesting and complex technical challenges
• Using Continuous Delivery practices and DevOps tools to deliver software
• Writing performant, clean, and well-tested code
• Working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
• Enjoying a high degree of autonomy, contributing to ideas, and shaping architecture
• Working on a high-performance distributed system

Requirements:
• 8+ years of recent hands-on coding and software design experience
• Solid Go experience
• Experience working with distributed systems
• Event-driven architecture: Kafka, Pup Sub, Red Panda (they are moving to it)
• Experience with the DevOps mindset, Continuous Delivery, and test-driven
development
• Act as a champion for security coding practices
• A proponent of Lean Software Principles and/or Kanban practices
• Experience with infrastructure as code, Linux/Unix, and scripting languages like Python,
Perl, and shell scripts
• Hands-on experience with AWS, cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
• Terraform experience is a plus
• Experience working with Spark or other big data tools like Databricks is desirable
• Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate degree in a related field, or an intriguing reason for
not having one
• Located in Colombia
