PROJECT PROPOSAL TITLE

I. RATIONALE

1. In-Service Training (INSET) has been considered as crucial to the maintenance

and sustaining the capacity of the teachers to continue to provide quality teaching
and learning in the classroom. This modality of professional development aims to
continually develop, enhance, and improve the competency of teachers, non-
teaching personnel, and school leaders through professional activities designed
around work-related development objectives. Every school year, the Science
Department of Libertad National High School organizes these school-based
trainings, seminars, and learning action cell (LAC) sessions to update the
knowledge and skills of teachers in facilitating the teaching-learning process.

2. The Department of Education (DepEd) provides tools and services for its
employees, teachers and students that promote a culture of collaboration and
communication and improve performance of tasks. The DepEd obtained these
tools and services in the interest of education and public service. With these,
personnel and students are provided with access to twenty-first century tools that
support delivery of quality education.

3. With the dissemination of the Memorandum OUA-OUT-011023-010 dated

January 12, 2023 entitled Microsoft 365 Adoption, it is reiterated that all DepEd
personnel shall maximize the use of provided Microsoft 365 apps. And with

 DepEd Order No. 34, s. 2022 entitled “School Calendar and Activities for the
School Year 2022-2023”, the School-Based INSET activities is scheduled on the
last three days for the teachers’ continued professional development and the
preparation of their instructional materials. In compliance with this issuance, the
Libertad NHS-Science Department shall conduct this School-Based INSET on
Microsoft 365 Apps Adoption and Migration from Google Apps to M365.

II. OBJECTIVES

1. Raise the ICT literacy of teachers for the purpose of promoting a culture of
collaboration and communication within the agency;
2. Re-orient the teachers on Microsoft 365 Apps; and
3. Migrate and transfer existing files from old Google DepEd account to the new
M365 account.

IV. DATE AND VENUE
