I. INTRODUCTION

EmpoWomen social enterprise is an Frozen Food Factory made by processed

meat from poultry farmers in Batangas City. This social enterprise open an opportunity

for citizens who are seeking jobs especially those single mom, housewives, and every

women who are willing to work under EmpoWomen social enterprise. EmpoWomen

empowered women’s capability into works. Women are very hardworking and flexible

they can do everything for their jobs. They believes that no women will left behind, if

man can do women can do also. EmpoWomen will address the issue of unemployment by

giving job assistance that will support their daily living. They provide the job training and

seminars that will help them and teach them on the job they will entering.

II. PROBLEM /OPPORTUNITY

Problem: Unemployment

Unemployment rate in January 2023 was estimated at 4.8 percent, translating to

2.37 million unemployed Filipinos. Labor force, female (% of total labor force) in

Philippines was reported at 38.73 % in 2021. Female labor force as a percentage of the

total show the extent to which women are active in the labor force. Labor force comprises

people ages 15 and older who supply labor for the production of goods and services

during a specified period.

The figures for the unemployment rate in the Philippines show that the country is

still suffering from high unemployment. Although a large number of Filipinos were able

to go back to work after the mobility restrictions brought about by the pandemic. There is

still a need for the underemployed to have additional hours of work in their current job or

have an additional job, or have a new job with longer hours.

Unemployment will have a large impact on your life regardless of your

background, especially in these uncertain times. Millions of Filipinos continue to be

jobless after the pandemic. Uneven economies in the country as well as around the world

have made it difficult for many to find work. Despite these difficult conditions, there are

still many ways to grow and stay hopeful. Unemployment not only puts financial strain

on the household, but it can also have mental and emotional effects on you. It can slowly

erode your self-esteem, lose energy and motivation to search for a job.

Unemployment can also be seen as an opportunity to begin a new direction in

your life. It opens you to finding a new job or career that better suits you, and it also

gives you extra time and energy to begin focusing on self-improvement and building

enterprise give opportunity to lessen the number of unemployment rate they give job

assistance to unemployed citizen especially unemployed women to empowered them,

also helps poultry farmers to have a sustainable job or supplier on their poultry farm.

III. VALUE PROPOSITION

This EmpoWomen is an Social Enterprise of Frozen Food Factory that uses

processed meats from poultry farmers here in Batangas City. This Entreprise help all the

unemployed women in Batangas City to give job assistance for them. Also provide

training that can help them to be familiarize on the job they will be entering. The

beneficiaries of EmpoWomen in social enterprise are typically indiviuals and

communities; Poultry Farmers, Unemployed citizen, Part timer students, Undergraduates

and especially all unemployed women here in Batangas City.

One of the opportunity that EmpoWomen can give is to offer partnership into

poultry farmers here in Batangas City, they are the one how will supply the fresh meat

that will use on the factory to make processed foods/frozen foods products. Here’s are the

Poultry Farmers that make partnership to supply their animal meat into EmpoWomen

Frozen Foods Factory social enterprise; The Camagon Poultry Farm in JA Palasios

Building, 31 P. Burgos, Poblacion Batangas, The E.A.M. Piggery and Poultry Farm in

Bucal, Bayngas City, and The Makalintal Farm of Mr. Boyet Makalintal in San Jose

Batangas.

EmpoWomen Frozen Food Factory will guaranty to produce high quality product

with affordable price. The supply of meat will be came from there very own supplier

from the poultry farm here in Batangas City

IV. DESCRIPTION

Overview

EmpoWomen social enterprise logo are inspired by all women here in Batangas

City who don’t have a sustanable job to support their daily living and to support their

family. Every woman is a pearl we should give importance to them, so don’t discrimate

them as a women who has limited capacity on job. Because here in EmpoWomen all are

suitable for the job especially women. They are very important for the success of this

social enterprise.

EmpoWomen Frozen Food Factory social enterprise empowered women to have a

sustainable job and also open a opportunity to lessen the unemployment rate in Batangas

City and also in the Philippines. Job assistance of EmpoWomen is needed to address the

social issue about unemployment rate and also to give opportunity for the women to

proved that they are capable on every job.

their menu or dishes like; Tapsilogan, Burger Stores, and etc. EmpoWomen targeted to

supply their product to them. And also for the target customer EmpoWomen target those

students who are boarding that wants a very affordable food with high quality products.

Stores, and Inconvenient Stores and Burger shops.

PROMOTION

The promotion method that EmpoWomen Social Enterprise will use social media

platform like Facebook Page and also they are going to use fliers to spread the

information about the social enterprise.

significant number of stores and households in Southern Tagalog and nearby regions with

National Capital Region, now it is making names also in the international markets.

here in Batangas City because of their delivery expenses.

Partnership is the form of ownership EmpoWomen social enterprise use. They

consist of 4 members in partnership Ms. Nambio, Ms. Catillo, Mr. Vico and Mr. Dano

Jessalyn Claire Castillo Nambio

Ms. Nambio is one of the owner of social enterprise EmpoWomen Frozen Food

Factory, serving as the highest-ranking executive of the company. She is the responsible

for ensuring the business operation at a profit and meets its goal. She need to know how

best to approach new opportunities, including delegating tasks or directing agendas to

drive profitability by managing organizational structure. Ms. Nambio earned a bachelor’s

degree in Entrepreneurship in Batangas State University. She holds professional

certifications of outstanding leadership award. Previously, Ms. Nambio was an Marketing

Director at Nestle, where she leads the whole team of marketing staff that increased the

sale for about 15% than the usual sale.

Don John Vico

Don John Magbanua Vico oversee the company’s overall advertising and sales

strategy as Marketing Officer he is responsible for overseeing the planning, development

and execution of an organization's marketing and advertising initiatives. They play a vital

role in a company’s growth and have important responsibilities that range from creative

influence to business strategy. Reporting directly to the chief executive officer, Mr. Don

He have an extensive knowledge in a variety of disciplines such as production,

improved ROI by 18%

Princess Castillo

Ms. Castillo is the former Financial Planning Assistant of social enterprise

EmpoWomen Frozen Food Factory, serving as the highest - ranking financial of the

company , She is the responsible for assisting the analysis for potential plans for clients

and provide customer assistance whenever they have questions. Ms Castillo earned a

bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship in Batangas State University. She holds

professionals certifications of being one of the outstanding employee in financial

Christian Dano

He is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in

support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization,
