holds that each nation should govern itself, free
from outside interference (self-determination), that a nation is a
natural and ideal basis for a polity, and that the nation is the
only rightful source of political power. an ideology that emphasizes
loyalty, devotion, or allegiance to a nation or nation-state and holds that such obligations
outweigh other individual or group interests.

by highly concentrated and
centralized government power maintained by political
repression and the exclusion of potential challengers. It uses
political parties and mass organizations to mobilize people
around the goals of the regime. inciple of blind submission to authority, as
