Macarulay and Chaired by our ever pro-active and supportive Public Schools District
Supervisor, Ma’am Cydel P. Valmores.

With the challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic that education sector is
facing, DICT, in partnership with DepED Region X initiate the conduct of the said training aiming
at helping teachers in different public schools toward a digital learning set-up. As the
department’s main thrust is to ensure access to promote equity and continuously improve the
quality of basic education in the field, partnership building, and networking with stakeholders of
education even during pandemic. (DM 196, s. 2020).

The training conducted in 2 sessions –Elementary session in the morning and

Secondary and Integrated Schools in the afternoon.

The well-trained speakers from the division represented by selected school ICT
coordinators in the district. Teachers enjoyed, learned and capacitated with every productivity
tools and online teaching essentials as well as informed/revisited Cyber Safety and Security for
Teachers and Child Protection Law.

Preliminaries done on first day graced by our dear school heads – an opening message
by Dr. Aileen F. Dabon, Principal I of JCS and inspirational message by PSDS Cydel P.
Valmores represented by Dr. Aileen F. Dabon.
