1. From the previous activity, assess your arguments and answer the following questions:

• Does my argument have an introduction that would tell the judges what I was going to say?

 Yes, my argument has an introduction that informs the audience or judges about the scope of my
entire topic. My introduction is detailed and filled with facts. You can get information on my
subject there.

• Does my argument have several lines explaining my topic sentence? Would judges now think my
argument was true?

 My entire argument is founded on facts, and I have plenty of proof and references to back it up.
Furthermore, my argument contains multiple lines that explain my topic sentence and is dense
with information.

• Does my argument have examples or evidence that I can link to the explanation?

 Yes, there are several examples and data to back up my argument.

• Did I explain why my evidence is important or directly related to my argument?

 I explain why the evidence is significant before directing my point and to my argument.

• Does my argument have a concluding sentence that explains why my argument matters?

 Yes, there are a lot of concluding phrases since it is vital to explain the important points in every
argument.
