Okay. So, yesterday was the first Team Bobby was in the bottom and Chris went home. Let me say that
again. So, yesterday was the first time Team Bobby was in the bottom and Chris went home. We’re
feeling pretty drained and sad that we had to lose a team member.

[TECHNICAL]

8:01:00 DOMINIQUE:

I felt really bad for Chris when he had to go home, especially since we haven’t got into a barbeque
challenge that kinda fit his skill level. I hope that doesn’t sound rude.

[TECHNICAL]

8:01:18 DOMINIQUE:

Okay, uhm. I felt really bad about Chris leaving, because we haven’t got to a challenge yet that really
match his cooking style.
[TECHNICAL]

8:01:42 DOMINIQUE:

I feel confident that our smaller team would still do a great job.

[TECHNICAL]

8:02:04 DOMINIQUE:

So, last week Team Bobby was on the bottom and Chris got eliminated.

[TECHNICAL]

I think the clearest critique for us being on the bottom was that our meal wasn’t cohesive, so I’m moving
forward I think we need to just do a better job of communicating and tire dishes into whatever the
narrative is was selling.

[TECHNICAL]

[LAUGHS] That was crazy, like a typhoon. Uhm. You need me to say that again? Okay. I think moving
forward, we need to just make sure our feast are cohesive and you know just try to tell the narrative that
we intend on it explaining. That makes sense. [LAUGHS]

This advantage challenge is gonna be a captain’s cook.

That means I get to take a break this morning. [LAUGHS]

So, Bobby picked nachos for this challenge. I love nachos and I can’t wait to watch him do his thing in
the kitchen.

8:11:07 DOMINIQUE:

Yeah. I like to prepare nachos in layers. I cannot stand when I eat nachos and the first layer is beautifully
dressed with cheese and chorizo.
[TECHINICAL]

8:11:32 DOMINIQUE:

I prepare my nachos the way I like to eat them, and that’s in layers. I don’t like a bite without my cheese,
chorizo, lettuce, and pico de gallo. I like the flavor to run through.

[TECHINICAL]

I think Bobby’s gonna do in this challenge. He does everything really calculated and the man knows his
stuff.

I’m gonna support Bobby by cheering him on and you know just let him know we’re relying on him, he’s
a great team captain. Let’s bring the win home.

[TECHINICAL]

8:12:35 DOMINIQUE:

We really need a win today, so we’re gonna do whatever we can to keep him in courage so he can bring a
home for us.

[TECHINICAL]
8:13:01 DOMINIQUE:

Never. Yeah, they never said -- Yeah, okay.

8:13:10 DOMINIQUE:

We don’t know what the advantage is in this challenge, but we will take all the help that we can get.

8:14:12 DOMINIQUE:

So Bobby’s making a smoked chicken nacho with queso -- [LAUGHS] chili fresno --

[TECHINICAL]

8:14:32 DOMINIQUE:

Yeah, okay. So Bobby’s making a smoked chicken nacho with queso, fresno chili, pico de gallo, black
beans, and some other stuffs. [LAUGHS]

[TECHINICAL]

8:14:55 DOMINIQUE:

Bobby has 30 minutes for this challenge. I think that’s just enough time to make some great nachos.
[TECHINICAL]

8:15:16 DOMINIQUE:

[YAWNS] No, he didn’t tell us what he was doing. He was like thinking like to the very last minute.

[TECHINICAL]

8:15:38 DOMINIQUE:

Yeah, okay. We think we had an idea about what Bobby was doing, but he was doing a lot of run in to
different areas, grabbing ingredients for these nachos.

[TECHINICAL]

8:16:00 DOMINIQUE:

Uhm... [INAUDIBLE] So yeah, I remember him being in process the closest thing to me. So, I
immediately notice that Bobby puts some beans on the burner. He seasoned them with garlic, onion,
cumin, some salt and pepper, and he’s gonna let those cook down before he mashes them to add them to
the nachos.

[TECHINICAL]

8:16:40 DOMINIQUE:

Yeah.

[TECHINICAL]
8:16:49 DOMINIQUE:

Bobby’s making his queso is looking a little thick, giving kind of a plastic look which is not what you
want, so he’s gonna have to cook it down, but Bobby already knows that. He’s the man.

[TECHINICAL]

8:17:20 DOMINIQUE:

Bobby’s gonna need to cook that cheese sauce down if he wants to have some nice... Bobby’s gonna have
to cook that cheese sauce down if he want the perfect consistency.

[TECHINICAL]

8:17:43 DOMINIQUE:

Yes.

[TECHINICAL]

8:17:50 DOMINIQUE:

So, Bobby’s running over to this smoker. He drops his pot on the ground. Luckily, he has just enough
roux to continue moving forward to make the cheese sauce.

[TECHINICAL]

8:18:04 DOMINIQUE:

Yea, that what happens, but I watched. He dropped it, some of the roux came out, and we’re all looking..
It was just enough, and it was enough to like add body into the sauce.
[TECHINICAL]

8:18:23 DOMINIQUE:

Yeah. [LAUGHS]

[TECHINICAL]

8:18:38 DOMINIQUE:

Bobby drops his pot and picks it up, there’s just enough roux to do for, so that’s exactly what he does.

[TECHINICAL]

8:19:28 DOMINIQUE:

[LAUGHS] Yeah. [LAUGHS] So, I don’t wanna put this like… Bobby’s the mighty duck… [LAUGHS]

[TECHINICAL]

8:19: 50 DOMINIQUE:

Actually, on the drive over. We were just like doing different chances and listening to like Ion the tiger
and like, just like you know getting each other pumped up. So we’ve done that in the van on the way over
so, yeah [LAUGHS] So the crack someone over well. [LAUGHS] Good. He thought he was funny, he
was telling what the hell is going on. [LAUGHS]
