I. Overview
1. Application Scope
TSCY drum sieve is applicable for pre-separating of the raw materials to remove the large impurities
such as straw, wheat straw, hemp rope, plastic film sheet, brick, stone, corn leaf, corn cob and so on, and
protect the subsequent machine and conveying device from failure and damage.
2. Performance Characteristics
The machine has the characteristics of high output capacity, low power consumption, simple
structure, small occupied area, easy installation, less maintenance and convenient replacement of sieve
tube. According to the material property, it can achieve the requirement on yield and separation effect
with suitable sieve mesh.

III. Technological Performance

Drum Sieve

Large impurities can be basically removed; the

efficiency of removing dust and impurity shall not be less

than 50% if it is equipped with fan; the large impurities

shall not contain grains (except rice spike)

V. Main Structure and Working Principle

1. Main structure

The main structure of the drum sieve consists of cylindrical worm speed reducer,

chain cover, frame, screen cylinder, feeding hopper, operation door, cleaning brush, motor

and so on.

2. Working principle

When working, the raw material flows from the inlet through the feeding hopper to

the inside of the screen drum, and when the screen drum rotates, the sieve throughs flow

out from the outlet of the grain hopper, but the large impurity passing through the screen

mesh is guided to the outlet of the impurity discharging hopper below the inlet with the

guide bolt on the inner wall of the screen drum under rolling action. The guide screw not

only helps to discharge the large impurity, but also can prevent the object from flowing

along with the large impurity, thus achieving the further separation effect. The cleaning

brush is used for cleaning the screen drum and preventing the screen holes from being

blocked. The air inlet can be connected with the air suction system to prevent dust from

flying.

VI. Machine Installation

Before installation, the machine shall be thoroughly checked, and the output shaft of

the reducer shall be ensured to be parallel to the driving main shaft, and the center of

two driving chain wheels is correct and the tightness of the chain is moderate. The

installation method of this machine\the position of anchor bolt hole, the relative position

of grain and large impurities are as shown in the diagram. The distance between the a

access door of the sieve drum and the wall shall not be less than the length of the sieve

drum + 600mm.

VII. Operation and Precautions

1. The operator shall know the structure and the performance of the machine;

2. Trial running without load is needed before use, the rotating direction of the sieve

drum shall be consistent with the direction indicating board, and the connecting parts

shall be checked, and looseness, blockage, collision and friction as well as abnormal noise

are not allowed;

3. Feed materials after the machine has kept normal running, the feeding flow shall be

uniform and property;

4. Stop feeding when the machine is not working, the machine shall not be stopped

before the materials in it have been completely removed.

VIII. Maintenance

1. The sieve drum shall rotate flexibly and shall not move in the axial direction;

2. The cylindrical worm reducer shall be lubricated with oil, and the oil level shall be kept

to immerse the worm. It is recommended to use gear oil, HL-20 in winter and HL-30 in

summer, and the oil shall be replaced for the first time after working for half a month,

then be replaced once every six months;

3. The bearing shall be cleaned once after the machine has kept continuously working

half to one year, and the lubricating oil shall be replaced. It is strictly prohibited to mix

dust and impurities into the oil;

4. Immediately replace the screen drum, feeding hopper and cleaning brush when they

are worn and can't work normally, so as to ensure safe production.
