2. We say multiplication is a repeated addition of a number, where each group has some number of objects.
3. Another way of doing the same is by multiplying, number of times 3 appears.
Properties of multiplication:-
1. Any number multiplied by 0, the product is always 0
Ex:- 35 x 0 = 0
2. Any number multiplied by 1, then the product is always the same number.
Ex:- 21x1=21

3. The change in the order of the factors doesn’t change the product.
Ex: - 9 x 5= 45
