Basic Symbols we use

> Greater
< Less
= Equal
Other Symbol
≥ Greater Or Equal

≤ Less Or Equal

≠ Not Equal (Greater Or Less)

What is conclusion in inequality?
Conclusion is something which follows in every possibility of the
statement
Statement - A>B>C
Conclusion-A>C
In the above statement there is no case of possibility.
Statement- A>B≥C
Possibility of statement
A>B>C
A>B=C
In both possibility A>C
So Conclusion is A>C is true
Statement - A≥B≥C
Possibilities of Statement
A>B>C A>B=C
A=B>C A=B=C
In first 3 possibilities A>C but in 4th possibility A=C
So that we can not give conclusion like A>C/A=C
So Conclusion will be A is either greater than or equal to C (A≥C)
is true.
Statement - A≥B=C
'Possibility' of statement
A>B=C
A=B=C
In 1st possibility A>C and in second A=C
So Conclusion will be A≥C is true.
Statement- A>B=C

No case of 'possibility
Conclusion - A>C
Lets have look on every statement

I. A > B > C II. A > B ≥ C III. A > B = C IV. A ≥ B ≥ C

We can say A>C in first three statement there is a single inequality

sign so the conclusion hold a single inequality sign.
But in 4th statement we can say A≥C because there are only
double sign so the conclusion would be double sign.
Statements :
A>B<C A>B≤C A<B>C A<B≥C
In every statement symbols are in opposite direction
So there will be three possibility-
(1) A>C (2) A<C (3) A=C
So Conclusion will have to hold every possibility in it but there is
not any symbol which holds these three together so we have to
use EITHER OR to complete conclusion.
Statement - A>B<C
(1) Either A>C or A≤C (2) Either A≥C or A<C
(3) Either A≥C or A≤C (4) Either A=C or A≠C
(5) Either A≠C or A≤C (6) Either A≥C or A≠C
CASE OF NOT EQUAL(≠)
Statements
A>B≠C A≥B≠C A≠B≠C
Possibilities
(1) A>C (2) A<C (3) A=C
Points to remember
The question itself tells you which codes stands for which
arithmetic operation so firstly evaluate the value.
 Take one conclusion at a time and decide which statements are
relevant for evaluating the conclusions.
 Check the conclusions which are directly or indirectly related to
the question.
Points to remember
Some times conclusions are not directly related with the question
then they may be complementary pairs as the relation between
them -
(A) (I) A>B and (II) A<B
(B) (I) A<B and (II) A>B
(C) (I) A≠B and (II) A=B
General Instructions for Inequalities,

(2) If only conclusion II is true.
(3) If either conclusion I or II is true.
(4) If neither conclusion I nor II is true.
(5) If both conclusion I and II are true.
