Narrative Report on
“Inside Job The Movie”

The film is really worth watching, it presents to us a very the harsh reality
financial industry that gives us a clear view of complicated financial structure
especially in the US. The movie is definitely exploring to us what happened in
2008, a very huge financial crisis that caused millions people to lose their jobs
and homes in the worst recession and almost resulted in a global financial
collapse. The film is developed through interviews with economists,
government officials and financial consumers. It was demonstrated objectively
real data, materials, to give and prove the audience reasons for the crisis back
in 2008. But besides all of that it also shows what should we be aware of and
what can actually lead to a present crisis in our days.

The documentary's content contains facts, evidence, and interviewees'

verbalizations, was straightforward. It demonstrates clearly how a small
number of people in positions of authority can have a significant impact on the
global financial system. Additionally, the documentary was easy to follow
because it was broken into five sections and was well-structured. It highlights
how a country's economy is interconnected with that of other countries, and
how various segments of the government became involved in the dangerous
actions that contributed to the financial crisis.

The Inside Job did an excellent job of showing that this Financial Crisis
wasn't an accident and that there were many people involved in this
corruption. Regulators, Politicians, and Businessmen were involved. They
knew that what they were doing was wrong but clearly didn't care because
their focus was on making money. They were making risky investments and
lenders didn't care if borrowers could repay so they started making risky loans.
Therefore, this film leaves people in discouragement because it confirms that
we can’t trust any authority because most of what brought the economy down
was not legal and done by people who worked within the economy.

As to my opinion I think this movie is worth watching and very useful for
us as the students. However it might be a little bit difficult to understand in the
beginning if you are not as familiar with the financial and political situations in
2008.This film definitely helped me to not only understand that crisis briefly, but
to have a deep thoughts about the past present and future financial situations of
our countries.
