- Indigenous Knowledge Systems and Practices (IKSPs) support ecosystem

productivity and sustainability, such as rice terraces, swidden, fish conservation,
and herbal medicines.

2. Research on the connection of indigenous knowledge to science and

technology.

- Indigenous peoples have made contributions to science through their traditional

knowledge and viewpoints, whereas non-indigenous scientific approaches are
often referred to as western science.

3. What is the role of indigenous knowledge in the development of indigenous

science? 

- Indigenous knowledge describes the viewpoints of various indigenous peoples. It

presents several perspectives on nature and science that differ from typical
Western science. Furthermore, it provides several viewpoints on nature and the
human in nature.
