Analysis and Interpretation:

To determine the number of Grade 9 learners who achieved the minimum level of proficiency, a 50-item test
was administered. As a result, there are only 31.43% Grade 9 learners who achieved or exceeded the MPL in English
9 while 68.57% of learners did not achieve the MPL.
