1) What will happen to a transaction posted to an Inactive account?


If a transaction is processed through batch for an inactive account, a Tag record (ATAI) is created to move the account
to the active status, and CMS warehouses the transaction for one day. When posting is complete, Depending on
Active/Inactive flag in system record, CMS moves the account from the inactive file (AMBI) to the active file
(AMBS). It changes the internal status to M, and reports that account on the Active/Inactive Migration report (R35).

2) What is the significance of Usury tables?


In CMS, you can establish Usury Table records to define the usury limits for interest processing. You specify the
minimum and maximum interest rate allowed by the usury laws in each state/province/country. During processing,
CMS verifies that interest rates defined in Interest tables comply with the minimum/maximum interest rate limits
defined for the identifier (ID) on the controlling Usury table. CMS only checks usury if the USURY flag on the
Organization record (ARMO02) is set to Y.

3) What is an action codes in ASM? How many types of Action Codes are there?
ASM processing is done based on action codes. Depending on the type of request from the customer the inquiry is done
through initiating action codes. There are 6 types of action codes they are Monetary , Non-monetary , Transcript ,
Inquiry , Point. Action codes are stored in AMAC and can be modified/added/queried using ASMA screen

4) The OFOAUTH program generates authorization code for bank card and private label card.
