Everyone has had the opportunity to participate in group games. Why do we engage in games?

The most reasonable explanation is that we do it because we want to feel the adrenaline, enjoy
our lives, and have a win. To better understand the joy of winning, this essay will share why
winning a game is crucial to the career of an athlete.
The first and most significant reason for playing a game is to win; the second one is to enjoy
and have fun. For athletes, winning a game or losing has a big bearing on their career. The
thought of losing to the opponent negatively affects them. However, for non-professionals like
students who spend countless hours in laboratories or reading textbooks, a slight opportunity to
play soccer with their friends is never a matter of winning or losing. The high value of results is
not considered. The sole purpose is to have fun and relax their minds, which have been busy the
whole day.
Another reason why winning is important is that useful lessons are learned through games.
Long-distance running and endurance marathons, for example, have the last part of the race
quite hard to handle. It teaches persistence, patience, and endurance, all of which lead to
victory. These qualities impact an athlete's career positively and push them to win.
Finally, for some people, games help them to have fun in their everyday lives, but for others, no
matter the situation, winning is everything, and the person who wins takes the glory home. All
in all, games are part of our lives and a win or loss should not be the end of happiness.
