PROJECT (I DO
SOLEMNLY
SWEAR)
DONE BY : HOOR, AALAA, HANIN,
MARYAM, NADA.N, LAMIS, LEEN
GRADE : 9G1
There are three qualifications for becoming president of the United
States:
• You need to be at least 35 years old
• You need to have lived in the United States for at least 14 years
• You need to a natural-born U. S. citizen
The job pays $400,000 per year. The duties are to act as chief of state,
head of the government, and commander-in-chief of the armed forces. If
a president dies, resigns, or is removed from office, the vice-president is
first in line to take over as president. Next comes the Speaker of the
House of Representatives, the president pro tempore of the Senate, and
the secretary of state.
Though the office of president is open to anyone meeting the
qualifications and wanting the job, all have had much in common in terms
of race, gender, former occupation, and religion. The president has always
belonged to one of the two major political parties at the time.

In our project, we will determine graphs for the data related to the U.S
presidents.
TASK 1
Step :1 determine the 5 number
summary for each president

10,46, 49, 53, 56, 57, 57, 58, 60, 60, 63, 64, 64, 65, 66, 67, 67,
67, 68, 70, 71, 71, 71, 72, 73, 74, 76, 76, 77, 78, 78, 79, 80, 81,
83, 85, 88, 90, 93, 93, 94, 98

Step :2 create a box plot and label the

sections.

10 63 71 79 98

IRQ : Q3-Q1
79-63 = 16
EXPLANATION REGARDING THE LAST SLIDE : IN THE
TERMS OF NUMBERS, 10 IS THE OUTLIER. FOR THE
PRESIDENTS, WE CONCLUDED THAT THERE ARE 43
DEAD PRESIDENTS AND THREE OTHER PRESIDENTS
THAT ARE STILL ALIVE, WHICH MEANS THAT THEY’RE
THE OUTLIER! (BARACK OBAMA, DONALD TRUMP,
AND JOE BIDEN)
step 3: create a stem and leaf for the age of death

TASK 2

CREATE A HISTOGRAM SHOWING THEIR AGE OF

Inauguration is defined as the beginning of a policy, period, or
system such as presidency in the US.

DESPITE THE FACT THAT THE US HAS ONLY TWO MAJOR POLITICAL
PARTIES, THERE USED TO BE A NUMBER OF OTHERS THAT ARE NO
LONGER AS PROMINENT. OF THE 46 US PRESIDENTS, 21 ARE
DEMOCRATS AND 24 ARE REPUBLICANS IN TERMS OF POLITICAL
AFFILIATION. THE TWO LEAST POPULAR POLITICAL PARTIES, THE
FEDERALISTS AND THE WHIGS, HAVE PRODUCED TWO AND FOUR
PRESIDENTS, RESPECTIVELY
task 4

not all the presidents went to

college, the majority ended up
going to harvard but 9 didn't go to
college. therefore, 36/45 people
attended college

THE PRESIDENTS WERE EPISCOPALIANS IN
RELIGION
TASK 6

CREATE A BAR GRAPH FOR THE

NUMBER OF CHILDREN!

Presidential children have been studied individually

and as a class. As individuals they are more often
notable in their own right than most individuals:
They disproportionately circulate among political
and social leaders and the wealthier classes, and
they are more likely to be scrutinized as part of
celebrity culture.
TASK 7

CREATE A BAR GRAPH FOR THEIR OCCUPATION

THIS IS A BAR GRAPH OF THE

OCCUPATION AND AS WE CAN
SEE MOST OF THEM ARE LAWYERS
questions

what was the most challenging part?

1. Ans: gathering all the data for each specific task,
luckily we all worked together and shared our
ideas which lead to a very fast and easy process

what surprised us?

2. the amount of presidents that didn’t go to college!
It was fascinating looking through their history and
how they managed to lead a union with their great
citizenship

who’s the most loved president and why?

3. Ans: Barack Obama as he had citizenship amongst

all his peers and respected everyone’s point of
view. He embraced hope for everyone and helped
the country in countless ways.
