Document Development Exposition: Workplace Correspondence

Explain in detail your document’s development from planning to finish, describing your
challenges, how you overcame them, and what you learned.

Planning
During my usability test, I took notes on how the participant followed the
instructions. I asked my participant for detailed feedback and suggested
recommendations for changes.

First Draft (for peer editing)

I summarized and formatted the feedback I had received from my participant
into the memo.

Second Draft (for your packet)

I did not receive peer edits on this packet, so I did not make any changes from
my first draft.

Final Draft (for your portfolio)

I implemented suggestions made by my instructor. I changed the format of the
‘summary’ section, and added a ‘usability test’ section to explain the test in its
own section rather than including it in the summary.
