Enclosed you will find the announcement and registration form for the upcoming meeting of the Actuaries
Club of Philadelphia on Thursday, May 11, 2023. This in-person meeting will be held at the Le Meridien
(1421 Arch St, Philadelphia, PA 19102). Note that all sessions will also have virtual viewing capabilities.

A list of the workshops being offered is attached. The meeting schedule will be:

After dinner speaker 6:45 – 7:30

The after-dinner speaker will be Sherry Chan. She is currently vice president of Pension at the American
Academy of Actuaries and has been a leader in the Academy’s diversity, equity, and inclusion initiative.
She is also co-founder of Abacus Actuaries. She will be speaking about the AAA’s DEI initiative, which
encompasses public policy, professionalism, and the Academy’s engagement within and outside the
profession.

We will also post the final meeting schedule on the Club’s website at www.phillyactuaries.org.

The deadline to register for dinner is 5:00 PM, Friday, May 5, 2023. Registration for workshops-only can
happen up until the day of the meeting.
