Statement of the Problem

This study tries to discover the perceptions of the ABM students pertaining to pricing
preferences. Those perceptions help the respondents to have great knowledge about its effects
on their purchasing decisions.

Specifically, this study seeks answer to the following questions.


1. What is the socio-demographic profile of the respondents in terms of:

1.1 Age;
1.2 Gender; and
1.3 Family monthly income.

2. What are the types of pricing preference that affects the purchasing decisions of the
respondents in terms of:

1.1 Bundle pricing;


1.2 Discount pricing; and
1.3 Charm pricing.

3. What factors affect the purchasing decisions in terms of:

1.1 Quality;
1.2 Price; and
1.3 Brand.

4. Is there a relationship between the socio-demographic profile and purchasing decision of


the respondents?

5. Is there a significant relationship between the pricing strategy and purchasing decisions
of the respondents?
