Prepare a plan on how you will conduct assessment based on the core principles we
learned. Refer to the K to 12 Curriculum to identify the competencies targeted by
instruction and how you intend to assess your future students following the principles in
assessing learning using alternative methods. Use the matrix provided to write your ideas
on how you should design and conduct assessment of student learning based on the core
principles.

Classroom Assessment

Assessment is both process-and product- I will use assessment that deepen their
oriented. understanding about the topic through
making a product that redo the process such
as creating own problem in compound
interest and discuss how they solve the
answer.

Assessment should focus on higher-order I will give challenging questions to be able to


cognitive outcomes. use their critical thinking and problem-
solving skills.

Assessment can include a measure of I will engage learners to participate in


noncognitive learning outcomes. activities and performances that will improve
their skills (e.g., broadcasting, dancing,
singing, arts, etc.)

Assessment should reflect real-life or real- I plan to give more specific example of how
world contexts. the lesson related in Math used in real-life or
real-world contexts.

Assessment must be comprehensive and I will create a rubrics in assessing the


holistic. performance of learners to avoid biases and
allow them to assess themselves.

Assessment should lead to student learning. I will apply teaching strategies that suits well
for different kinds of learner to make the
lesson easier to make them more interactive
during discussion to execute the learning
objectives properly.
