Your assessment of the sustainability efforts done in the destination.

So the sustainability efforts done in that place is Plastic pollution this is not only to this place but is a global
problem, but it's also a local problem that you can personally help. Most of the plastic pollution in the ocean
originates on land and in urban areas. Unfortunately, plastic pollution in the ocean is not restricted by state
borders, so the plastic pollution that affects the Great Barrier Reef (“the Reef”) could have originated
elsewhere on the East Coast. Luckily the same applies to the solution. Doing things at home also benefits the
reefs of the 'Toxic Tide'. But if we take the time to understand the problem and its impact, we can see how
our personal actions can help solve problems and reduce impacts in places like the Great Barrier Reef
increase.
As a future tourism practitioners, how can you protect your environment?
As a Future Practitioner I think we can protect environment in field management programs include
surveillance patrols, compliance work, campsite and mooring maintenance, nesting and hatchery
monitoring, and pest and fire protection on reef national park islands.Tourism, fisheries, recreation,
traditional uses, research, defense, transportation and ports all have their place in what activities to
minimize their environmental impact and protect the majestic marine environment. It is carefully managed
through a zoning plan that defines what can be done. First, participate in a citizen science project, help clean
up, choose a high-standard ecotourist operator, stay at a reef ecotourism resort, wear reef-safe sunscreen,
see but don't touch, coral is very fragile. They are made up of thousands of polyps, small creatures
resembling anemones. They are so sensitive that even the slightest touch will kill them. Whether you're
swimming, snorkeling, or diving, resist the urge to reach out and touch what you see. The same applies to
sea plants and animals. While you may be tempted to reach out and pet a sea turtle swimming nearby,
remember that the beautiful reef habitat you enjoy should be treated with respect and care. Protect the
Great Barrier Reef from afar
Plastic and other waste pollute the world's oceans. The waters of the Great Barrier Reef are no exception.
We can work with people around the world to help protect this coral reef by limiting our use of plastic and
making eco-friendly choices wherever possible. We are all choosing to use reusable water bottles, bamboo
toothbrushes, canvas grocery bags, etc. and adopting a more sustainable lifestyle by reducing/eliminating
fish from our diets. You can also try to travel responsibly, choosing ground transportation when possible
and choosing environmentally friendly accommodations.
