Executive Order No. 64

“AN EXECUTIVE ORDER CONTAINING TECHNICAL SUPPORT OF FOR SEVEN

(&COMPONENT BADACS OF THE INTENDED FOR THE CAMPAIGN FOR ANTI-
DRUGS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SULTAN DUMALONDONG, PROVINCE OF
LANAO DEL SUR”

WHEREAS, DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2019-143, dated June 16, 2015
was issued to emphasize to local authorities especially barangays officials their
principal responsibilities in support of overall government efforts to maintain peace
and order particularly to curb illegal drugs and other substances;

WHEREAS, the establishment of the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council/

(BADAC) in Barangays are imperative in order to provide a venue for an orderly,
planned and well-managed campaigns against all forms of illegal and other
substances;

WHEREAS, the Local Government Unit is mandated to provide technical

support for the Barangay Local Government Unit specifically their BADAC
Components and such support shall contain the following:
1. Reorganization of the Composition, if necessary;
2. Equipment of knowledge on roles, duties and responsibilities of BADACs;
3. Assistance in analysing the problem of their respective barangays on illegal
drugs;
4. Formulation of the BADAC Plan of Action;
5. Interrogation of the BADAC Plan of Action in the Barangay Peace and Order
and Public Safety (BPOPS) Plan;
6. Creation of coordinative and collaborative links with other institutions in
the implementation of programs and activities on drug abuse prevention at
the barangay level; and
7. Identification of innovations which can be initiated by the BADACs or
which may be implemented or conducted in partnership with National
Government Member Agency or Accredited CSOs.

NOW THEREFORE, I, JAMEL BACARAMAN KURANGKING, the Municipal

Mayor of the Municipality of Sultan Dumalondong, Province of Lanao Del Sur, by
virtue of the power vested in me by law, do hereby order the executive order
containing the technical support for components BADACs.

Section 1. TECHNICAL SUPPORT, Through the MADAC Focal the Local Government
mandated to provide technical know-how’s in providing orientations, trainings,
awareness, seminars and other activities for BADAC Components.

Section 2. REPEALING CLAUSE. All orders and issuances that are inconsistent with
this order are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.

Section 3. EFFECTIVITY, This order shall take effect immediately.

Done in the Municipal Hall of Sultan Dumalondong, Lumbac, Province of Lanao del
Sur, this 14th of April 2022
