- I believe that the Philippines' healthcare system is of a good caliber. Although the
facilities they use are of lower grade than those in high-end nations, the medical
staff in the Philippines are highly qualified. Though I may say that the public
healthcare system in the Philippines excels in urban regions but falls short in rural
ones, many Filipino medical professionals are still increasingly migrating to
Western nations which can lead to understaffing of other hospitals. Personally, I’ll
do the same - migrate to another country - because of how low the salary they pay
medical professionals here where the average salary of a pharmacist is around
4,800$ per year compared to the US for example; the average pay is 117,000$ per
year. In short, Filipino medical professionals migrate because of low pay rates in
the Philippines compared to substantially greater incomes in the other countries.

incomes in the other countries and for greater opportunities since FIlipino medical
professionals don’t favor the Philippine Government too much.
