DESCRIPTION
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for nurturing a high performing team within your department who are
proud to sell with confidence, using customer led selling conversations to recommend total tech solutions that best
match customer needs. Your team will be obsessive about bringing technology to life for the customer and to exceed
expectations during every customer interaction. You will provide consistent coaching through the selling model, which
will equip the colleague to inspire the customer to buy the best solution to suit their needs, regardless what channel they
choose to shop. You will understand the strengths and development opportunities of all team members, all individuals
will have a live personal development plan to support continuous improvement and multi skilling in current role and ca-
reer goals tomorrow. Strong business acumen will support the delivery of P&L and retail basics, effective communica-
tion and peer influence will mean all team Members under one roof will be working relentlessly to win together. Build-
ing a great team spirit will be pivotal to your business area and the stores overall success, as will operating with a core
set of values, providing clear direction to your team and a real sense of purpose. With your flexible, hands-on manage-
ment style, you will be an example for the rest of the business in what good looks like.
Responsibilites;

• Support the General Manager in Inspiring your team to bring the vision to life each day aligning colleagues in
your business areas to short, medium- and longer-term goals whilst giving clarity in the part they play in con-
sistently making customers happy, contributing to team spirit whilst delivering profit to our shareholders.
• In the General Managers absence you will be expected and will be empowered to make decisions as if the store
is yours. You will also have the opportunity to regularly lead the sales floor, driving all colleagues and your
peers in delivering excellent customer behaviours whilst exceeding sales volume and profit objectives. 
•  Ensure omnichannel retailing is at the heart of your plan to support a seamless customerjourney regardless
which channel they use to shop.
• Set the expectation for colleagues to offer consistent high levels of service to our customers through effective
use of technology and the selling model, not just during the sale in the moment but for life.
• Be an exceptional coach and have a hands-on management style, you are an expert at building colleague com-
petence and confidence and obsessive about validating and supporting them to recommend the total tech solu-
tions that best match the customer`s needs. 
• Understand the capability of all of your team members and have the ability to support their performance with
regular one to ones and a live personal development plan, to encourage continuous improvement compliantly
in current role, as well as achieving short- and long-term career goals. 
• Have the ability to Identify commercial opportunities within your departments and across the store to max-
imise sales through winning business from the competition.
•  Create anticipation, excitement and engagement when new products and ranges launch and be the first to sug-
gest how this new tech can be brought to life via WOW demo`s.
• Maximise the use of labour productivity reports through effective rostering and recruitment ofcapable and
committed colleagues 
• Share your passion with technology and deploy winning supplier relationships to support everyone in your de-
partments help everyone enjoy amazing technology.
• Deliver best in class operational standards 
• Deliver all elements of compliance including the sale of regulated products 
• Health and Safety and Security to protect colleagues, customers and shareholders. 
Required Skills & Experience:

As a Sales Manager you lead teams to create experiences that build customer loyalty and guide the development of your
leadership team and colleagues. You will have the ability to support the General Manager, lead and coach the team who
are proud to sell to deliver a high performance whilst leading by example by working side by side with them. In terms
of colleague development it`s not just about upskilling to make them stronger in the role today, it`s also about support-
ing them to achieve their longer -term career aspirations tomorrow. The culture you create will mean everyone in your
team wants to win for the colleague, customer and shareholder, welcoming feedback from both customers and col-
