How North Korea manipulates foreign government

North Korea is one of the few communist countries left in this world, and not to be confused
with South Korea (Republic of Korea) which is still in armistice with since the Korean War in
1951. Ever since then the two Koreas were separated, South Korea stood with US while the
North Korea stood with Soviet which soon collapsed at the end of Cold War. As their
supporting superpower lost its influence over the world, the position of North Korea became
uncertain while South Korea was forming alliance with US. In accordance with South
Korea’s military alliance with US, nuclear weapons were equipped right beside them, the
major reason was of course to hold Soviet in check. The North Korea could not hesitate to
arm themselves with nuclear power as well. At the cost of international isolation and
economic sanctions, North Korea chose to weaponize nuclear power and keep themselves
aligned with others by threat and terrorism. The major way employed by North Korea to
manipulate foreign government is confrontational diplomatic relationship. This surprisingly
bold and aggressive attitude towards international society has always been left unchanged
because the world knows that they have nuclear warheads. North Korea’s conventional
military strengths are weak and obsolete, even themselves would admit that continuation of
Korean War will not result in North’s victory without asymmetric powers. The diplomats
dispatched abroad has almost no free will, meaning that they cannot even possess a single
will against their Supreme Leader and this makes negotiation with North Korea very
troublesome. The negotiation will become either huge benefit to North Korea or long
stagnation. The nations closely related to North Korea has attempted to denuclearize them
numerous times which always finished with a promise towards peace but international society
already witnessed several more nuclear weapon experiments getting stronger after each
promises and agreements. Now, almost every country does not believe in North Korea
anymore, their notoriety outweighs positive influence South Korea has. Even the most closely
related country, their former brother South Korea have given up on them judging from public
opinions and most surely, the amount of money spent on the humanitarian support for North
Korea have been decreasing. It reached its peak during President Roh, which is not a surprise
from liberal side president, but President Moon’s government spent even less than the
president before, who was from conservative side (very skeptical towards the North).
Showing the growing distrust and meaninglessness of resource supports. As the international
society will again be divided into new Cold War between US and China, China will stay
friendly with North Korea, using their aggressiveness against US and US will also stay alert
to keep their two biggest threats in check. The Kim clan will never give up on nuclear
weapon to keep his dictatorship legitimate (by force) and as this confrontation continues
North Korea will keep on rolling the dice against international society and coerce unfair
negotiations to maintain false peace of East Asia. The adjacent nations cannot persist in
stalemate state otherwise North Korea will come up with bolder, daring military provocation.
This how the North Korea manipulates other nations.
