BACKGROUND

Model United Nations is a simulations of United Nations Conference

attended by young leaders, referred to as Delegates, who are assigned a
country to represent in one of the United Nations' numerous committees with
pre-set topics to debate. It is also a platform where young leaders from all
over the world gather in one place with similiar aim, that to improve their
skills in leadership, negotiation, and diplomacy. All those skills can be
obtained by joining and participating in the Asia World Model United
Natioms III.

Asia World Model United Nations (AWMUN) III is a Model United Nations
carrying the theme of the Implementation of Worl’s Agenda 2030. Asioa
World Model United Nations (AWMUN) III aims to facilitate young leaders
from different places to broaden their networks and to provide a platform
toshare their perspectives, particularly on Sustainable Development Goals
(SDGs) that will be discussed in each council.

The delegates will have a discussion on the mentioned issue for each goal
and will be guided directly by the chair and co-chair. Therefore, Asia World
Model United Nations (AWMUN) III will be an excellent choice for young
leaders who wish to enhance and develop their capabilities in communication
and diplomacy skills.
 THE PURPOSE OF THE EVENT

1. To facilitate young leaders from all over the world to

broaden their network.
2. To improve young leaders’ perspective on the world in
order to form critically thinking generations.
3. To provide a platform for young leaders to improve their
soft-skills in leadership, negotiation, and diplomacy.
4. To allocate the opportunity of experiencing the
atmospher of United Nations Conference

DELEGATES

Asia World Model United Nations (AWMUN) III offers

three types of participants, i.e. single delegate, group delegation, and
observers. As for single delegates and group delegations, Asia World Model
United Nations (AWMUN) III is targeting 2,400 delegates from all over the
world, concisting of:

In regards to the participants referred to

as “observes” can be described as participants that are older than 14 or
between 26 – 60 years old. However, these participants will not be given any
voice or represent a country during the conference. Should any group
delegation wish to be accompanied by a Faculty Advisor is required to
register as an observer.

Group Delegations can be described as participants who wish to contribute

to the conference together with their colleagues from High School,
University, or Institution. These group delegations will attend the conference
as representatives of their respective
institutions.
 SERIES OF ACTIVITIES

1. Grand Symposium
Asia World Model United Nations (AWMUN) III holds a grand symposium
during the opening ceremony with the theme of The Implemetation of
Worls’s Agenda 2030 conducted by outstanding speakers that will discuss
recent international issues regarding the topic in each council.    
2.MUN 101
Asia World Model United Nations (AWMUN) III organizes MUN 101 and
Zero Conference before the commiteen sessions start so that the delegates
may earn how MUN works and understand the Rules of Procedure deeper.
Both MUN 101 and Zero Conference will be explained by our Board of
Dais. They will explain and teach the delegates step-by-step procedure of
the MUN and they will be discussing interesting topics in the Zero
Conference.
3.Committee Session
Delegates will be assigne to represent a country in each council that has
been chosen by the delegates and discuss the particular topic in their
council. Delegates will be moderated by theBoed of Directors during the
committee session.
4.Bali City Tour
Delegates will be invited to witness the alluring beauty of the Island of
Gods, Bali. During the city tour, delegates will be visiting iconic tourism
spots exhibiting the captivating cultures of Bali that cannot be found
anywhere else, such as Water Blow Nusa Dua, Uluwatu Temple, and
Pandawa Beach.
5.Diplomatic Dinner
Asia World Model United Nations (AWMUN) III provides a networking
moment, namely Diplomatic Dinner. Delegates will experience
multiculturalism through diplomatic dinner where they may expand their
network by meeting other delegates from various countries.   
6.Awarding
An awarding ceremony will be presented to appreciate the partiipants’
hard work and enthusiasm during the committee session.                      
7. Cultural Night
There will be a set of cultural performances during the closing ceremony
the delegates will perform on stage to exhibit the culture of their nations.

AWMUN I
AWMUN I was held in Seoul, South Korea
on August 11th – 15th, 2018. With the theme
of “Defying Commonality: Unfolding
Extraordinary Potentials”.
AWMUN II
AWMUN II took place in Bangkok, Thailand
on January 30th – February 2nd, 2019.
Raising the theme of “The World’s Dilemma:
Enhancing World Action on Climate Change”.
AWMUN III
AWMUN III will be held in Bali Island,
Indonesia on January 11th – 14th, 2020.
Carrying the theme of “The Implementations
of World’s Agenda 2030”, AWMUN III
presents 21 councils with four committee
sessions. 2,400delegates are targeted to
exchange ideas and discuss the World
Agenda in 2030 at the Indonesian tourism
island, Bali.

Platinum Sponsor (Main) is a sponsor who contributes Rp. 7,500,000 to Rp.

10,000,000 to the event organizer. The committee is entitled to receive
additional assistance in the form of co-sponsors and partner sponsors. In order
