Step by step process on how to create a website in Weebly

❖ Sign up for a Weebly account: Go to the Weebly website and click on the "Sign Up"
button. Enter your email address and choose a password to create your account.

❖ Choose a website theme: Weebly offers a range of free and paid themes. Browse
through the themes and choose one that best suits your needs. Click on the theme to
preview it, and then click on "Start Editing" to begin customizing it.

❖ Create a domain name: Before you start editing, you need to give your website a
domain name. This name will appear in your website’s URL and is referred to as
domain name. For instance, “edulearning.weebly.com” is a domain name. When
creating a domain name Weebly will guide you through the process, and you can use
a free domain by selecting the Weebly Subdomain. This will include “weebly.com” in
your website address.

❖ Customize your website theme: Once you've selected a theme, you can start
customizing it. Use the drag-and-drop editor to add or remove elements on your
website. You can add text, images, videos, buttons, and other elements to create your
website.

❖ Add pages to your website: To add a new page to your website, click on "Pages" in the
top menu and then click on "Add Page." You can add pages for your homepage, about
page, contact page, and more. Give your page a name and then start adding content.

❖ Edit and customize pages: Click on the page you want to edit in the "Pages" tab. Use
the editor to add text, images, and other content to your page. You can also customize
the layout of your page by adding or removing elements.

❖ Preview your website: Once you've added content to your website, click on the
"Preview" button to see how it looks. You can also click on the "Publish" button to
make your website live.

❖ Publish your website: Once you're happy with your website, click on the "Publish"
button to make it live on the internet. Your website is now ready for visitors to
explore!
