Journal Report
Day One - Week Three
The first day of class for week 3 of our practicum is March 27, 2023. The DPLMHS had a
flag ceremony at 7:30am that lasted no more than five minutes with just few announcements.
After the flag ceremony, I still have 10 minutes left before my first period. At exactly 7:30 I
went to my G10 Reimann and started my class. I first have a recall about our past lesson
before proceeding in introducing my next lesson. I gave them a fill in the blank’s activity for
their oral recitation that has a twist. That whenever I call someone from the class it’s either
they choose to answer or choose to challenge someone. Whenever a student answered
correct, they will be rewarded. The activity was very fun, after the first activity I gave them
another activity but this time to give chance to the other students to participate. Before I end
my class with them I ask the class to write autobiographies using pronouns and will be pass at
the end of the day. With that I concluded my class at 10 Reimann with a smile. For G10
Ohm, don't have their regularly scheduled English session on Mondays. By 8:30 in the
morning, my final class for the day concludes. With the remaining free time I had at
DPLMHS, I decided to continue doing my lesson plan, Instructional Materials and other
requirements that I need to finish.

Day Two – Week Three
On the second day of class, I kicked off my lesson with 10-Reimann at precisely 7:30 a.m. I
called the students one by one to read their autobiographies in front of the class before
continuing my lessons. After their recitation, we resumed our lesson. I stated explaining to
them our lesson, after that I gave them a group activity wherein they would compose five to
10 sentences using pronouns. The activity consumed the majority of the class period. Once
they finished their exercise, I decided to dismiss the class for the day.I started teaching again
at 10-Ohm at 10:00 in the morning. I didn't waste any time and called the students one by one
to read their autobiographies in front of the class. After reading their autobiographies I ask
the class to be ready to report their group activity. The reporting stopped at group four, after
that I dismissed my last period of the day with 10-Ohm. I continued to evaluate some of my
students' activities with the time I had left for the day. Also, I'll keep working on my lesson
plan and teaching resources.

Day Three – Week Three
On the third day of class, I continued my lesson with 10 Reimann and discuss to them about
Pronoun-Antecedent Agreement and gave some examples and discuss the lesson further until
the end of the class. At Ten in the morning I had my class with 10 Ohm, we started by
resuming their reporting activity for the first half of the class. And after reporting I also
resumed my discussion with them until the end of the class at 11:00 in the morning. And that
concludes my morning class. With plenty of time left in the afternoon, I choose to take a
break and unwind before starting my duties again.

Day Four – Week Three
On the fourth day of class, I let 10-Reimann copy all the lectures that I have provided them
on the board while explaining the lesson to them. After copying the lectures, I gave them a
group report wherein I assigned them topics about the rules of the Pronoun-Antecedent
Agreement and they will report it the next day. Same goes with 10 Ohm, with that, I
concluded my morning class and continue doing my lesson plan the rest of the day.

Day Five – Week Two

On the last day of class for this week, I was 30 minutes late for my class because the
Department Head of the English called us for a short meeting. At exactly eight in the morning
I started my class. I was hoping that the groups were already prepared with their report but
unfortunately the first group was not prepared and gave an excuse that they thought that the
report will be on Monday. I was very disappointed with them, because all I thought they
understood my instructions. Because of that I gave them 15 minutes to make amends and
prepare their report. They took most of the time and five minutes prior to the end of the class
the first group finished their report. So, I instructed the other reporters that they will be
reporting on Monday and I hope that they will be prepared. Unfortunately the same thing
happened with 10-Ohm. Their prior class took over some of my time and with that I started
my class with them 20 minutes after. The first group was able to report but for the second
group, they were also not prepared and had prepared their Instructional materials 10 minutes
before they were able to report. The same instructions were given to them to be prepared for
out next meeting.
