Statement of Purpose

The Preponderance of individuals learn in the later part of their life that
health is wealth; however, it is obverse for me because I learnt this in
my formative years as I used to become a victim of infectious diseases
due to poor immunity, and I was not able to indulge in activities which
were enjoyed by my peers. I was not able to attend school regularly due
to my frequent sickness which had a negative impact on my academic
growth. After facing hardships in my childhood, I decided to associate
myself with the medical profession. So, others will not face the same
difficulties which were faced by me.

I relish reading textbooks because I deem that they assist tutees to

attain comprehensive growth. This propensity helped me to score
decent grades throughout my academic career. I obtained an A2 grade
in 10th which gave me the freedom to choose the stream of my further
education, and I opted science stream because I opined that it’s the
stream which would provide me opportunities to fulfil my aspirations. I
managed to secure a B1 grade in 12 th standard. I have scored overall 6.5
bands in ILETS (Listening-7, Reading-7, Writing-6.5, Speaking-6) which
renders my proficiency that is required to get admission to the college.

I was disgruntled when the 12th result was announced because I could
not score enough to get admission in medical science. Even though I did
not score enough in the 12th standard, I did not relinquish my dream of
getting associated with the medical profession. I consulted one of my
uncles who has been serving as chief medical officer for more than two
decades to make the decision regarding further education. After having
a profound discussion with him, my all worries were dispelled because
he elucidated to me that I could get admission to health care
management courses ubiquitously. So, I am steadfast to advance my
academic journey in health care management.

As learning is an incessant process, I am steadfast to advance my

academic career prospects as a result of that I have zeroed in on
Canada to pursue my further education. I assert that no other country
can come close to Canada in terms of its education system as well as its
rich heritage, Cultural diversity, political stability, economic growth, and
exquisite weather. All these elements can be useful to delineate the
prosperity of a nation and Canada has epitomized all of them.

As I was going through the lists of colleges, Mohawk College gravitated

to my attention. I have done a profound study and was directed to its
website. Its cornerstone has been laid on five tenets of integrity-
honesty, trust, fairness, responsibility, and respect which make it stand
apart from the rest. I also realized that my learning will be amplified by
a concoction of a conducive environment, diverse ethnicity, and state-
of-art technology. Ergo, I will get enrolled in Office administration-
Health Services at this eminent alma mater. My education expenses
are sponsored by my parents. The fees for the first semester
amounting to $17800 have been paid and opened a GIC account in
Canada for me with over $10000 deposited. The receipts for the
program fees and GIC are already attached to my application for your
review.
This course comprises a wide range of modules such as Financial
Foundations, Digital Communications, Document creation and Editing,
Human Relations, Presentation Skills, Medical Terminology, Medical
Transcription, Hospital Unit Procedure. All these modules help me to
augment my current repertoire as it aims to equip me with much-
needed knowledge of the administration of health services. So, I will be
able to assist a team of doctors to run hospitals as well as clinics.

Being true patriotic, I will return to serve my home country after

completing my study in Canada because India is the country where
there is the paucity of professionals who can work in the health sector
as a result of that of that people often get deprived of health services,
and succumb to ferocious diseases. I avouch that my degree in Office
Administration- Health Services will help me to get hired by one of the
eminent hospitals such as Nanavati Hospital, Manipal Hospital, Artemis
Hospital, Fortis Escort Heart Institute, Max super speciality Hospital
where being a member of the health care team, I will be optimizing
available resources in such a way that doctors will be able to treat more
number of patients efficient, and ultimately health care standard will be
ameliorated. As per the norm of my Society, it is my moral duty to be
with my family and take care of my parents in the latter part of their
life, and provide financial and emotional support to all of my family
members.
