GAD activities and celebrations were held and engaged at by different schools at Labrador District.

It
gives all-out participation in such endeavor….

National Womens Month Celebration-this was celebrated where teaching and non-teaching personnel
wear anything “purple” on all Tuesdays of March 2022 to signify support for women's
empowerment and gender equality. 

Children’s Month Celebration –came up with various activities intended for our dear little children
during the month of November.

Senior Citizens – senior citizens where also recognize by honoring them through the Senior Citizens
Month on October, every school conducted training especially made for themand provided health
essentials such milk and Vitamin C supplements.

GAD Training for Parents, Students and Teaching and Non-teaching personnel was conducted on
December with titles: Gender & Development Seminar on Gender Equality and Equity in the new
normal: Hand & Hand, We Stand! And Focusing on Gender Equity in Workplace, Career Progression ,
Benefits, Health & Wellness and Cum Team Building. High caliber speakers were invited . GAD poloshirts
and Health essentials were also distributed for free.

Team GAD Labrador District is headed by Dr. Maria Sylvia M. Garcia, together with Ms. Rexy P. Pancho
the school head in charge of GAD and the ten very supportive school GAD focals. Working together,
leads success!
